Devilettes to host NWHS in finals
LEBANON -- Scoring the last 15 points of the game at the free throw line, Lebanon rode yet another strong rebounding performance in Monday's 50-39 win over Rossview in the Region 5-AAA semifinals at Campbell Brandon Gymnasium.
The Devilettes out-rebounded Rossview 28-19 with junior post Meioshe Mason pulling down nine caroms and senior forward Avery Harris clearing five rebounds.
"If you play defense and rebound, you're going to give yourself a chance to win in tournament basketball," Coach Cory Barrett said.
Guards Addie Porter and Terri Reynolds carried much of the offensive load as Porter scored 19 points (12-of-15 at the line) and Reynolds added 17 (two 3-pointers).
