THE John Lewis/Waitrose ‘Give a Little Love’ Christmas Campaign chose Cancer Support Yorkshire as one of the charities to benefit locally from the Waitrose Store in Otley.
Charity Fundraiser, Linda Enderby said: “We received a beautiful food and drink hamper, a wine hamper and other prizes towards our Christmas Raffle which raised £488.00.
“I was also presented with a cheque for £333.00 earlier this month giving us a total of £821.00!
“This is an amazing amount of money and it could not have come at a better time as we struggle with the financial impact of the pandemic.”
Cancer Support Yorkshire support people affected by a cancer diagnosis in Yorkshire. They are there to offer practical and emotional support to patients and their families.
