A man who disappeared in China Rapids near Red Bluff and has not been located
A man was kayaking with a friend and was unable to safely navigate through the China Rapids on the Sacramento River near Red Bluff.

RED BLUFF, Calif. – A kayaking incident on the Sacramento River near China Rapids has caused the disappearance of a recreational boater.
On Friday, July 2, 2021, at approximately 10:08 a.m. the Tehama County Sheriff’s Office responded to the China Rapid area of Red Bluff to investigate a reported boating accident.
