A St. Louis woman's dream of better housing is lost to illness, crippling bureaucracy

This is the sixth chapter in the story of Kim Daniel, who is coping with the pandemic in a neighborhood plagued by chronic illness and much shorter life spans than those in predominantly white neighborhoods. Daniel, 55, has lived with a congenital heart defect that has taken her to death’s door several times over the course of her life.
