A55 Chester crash sparks huge rush-hour delays | Chester and District Standard

THERE is traffic chaos on major road networks after a serious collision closed the A55 by Chester. 
The two-vehicle collision occurred earlier today on the on the eastbound carriageway near Chester, between Boughton Heath and the Posthouse Roundabout.

The road closure now extends to J36A Broughton Retail Park. 
And traffic diverted away from the A55 is now tailing back miles on the A494 in Deeside and A483 in Wrexham, with large queues forming on roads into Chester, particularly on Wrexham Road.
