A BUSINESS owner has been appointed to represent Pensarn Ward.
Nick Williams, who owns Pantri Bach, was elected at The Ordinary Meeting of the Council on Thursday, March 4.
Mr Williams received 62 per cent of the vote; The voting was done by secret ballot.
Other candidates were Michael O'Hanlon and John Jones of Abergele Harriers.
Mr Williams, who had to give a short presentation and answer questions prior to being elected, said: “I am a local business man and landlord and feel I have a good understanding of the area.
“I bought Pantri Bach in 2003. We have achieved a number of awards.”
