Active cases of COVID-19 in Strathcona County are on the rise again.
As of Monday, Mar. 1, Alberta Health Services reported 48 active cases in Strathcona County — 31 in Sherwood Park and 17 in the rural county, which is an overall increase of 12 active cases since Thursday.

Sherwood Park has recorded 1,695 cases of the virus since the start of the pandemic and 1,633 of those are listed as recovered, which is an increase of two recoveries since Thursday.
Rural Strathcona County has recorded 529 cases of the virus since the start of the pandemic and 508 of those cases are listed as recovered, which is an increase of one recovery since Thursday.
