There's no question the third running of the much-hyped All-Star Mile will be a terrific contest.
Racing Victoria and fans got the top 10 they wanted - a perfect mix of class and quality as well as dreamers and fairytales and the wildcards will only boost and enhance the March 13 feature at The Valley.
But has the expensive and extensive promotion gained the cut through it was designed to achieve. Or using corporate-speak, what are the returns on investment and what key performance indicators have been met or missed?
