Event organiser David Casey gets in a practice jump before Saturday's Kiwi Grooves festival in Waitara.
With only a four-week turnaround, a local community group has managed to bring some of New Zealand’s biggest R&B artists to Waitara in north Taranaki.
Kiwi Grooves festival, featuring Che Fu, Tomorrow People and Ardijah, is an all ages music event at the covered North Taranaki Sports Hub Whai Tapuwae Nō Rongo-Clifton Park.
It kicks off at 4pm on Saturday and runs until about 10pm.
“This will be the biggest live music event we’ve ever held,” operations manager Gina Blackburn said.
