Hyderabad: People will now have another way to test Covid’s presence in their bodies. The city-based Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology and the Apollo Hospitals yesterday announced a tie-up for joint production of a novel dry swab test to detect Covid.
The test would focus on increasing production and commercialisation of the tests. They would be available through the Apollo Hospitals around India. The DArRT-PCR test permits for fast, safer and cheaper Covid testing, said Dr Rakesh Mishra, director of CCMB.
