¯ Johnathan Y. Dejesus-Godineaux, 21, of Jamestown, was charged with second- and third-degree criminal possession of stolen property, two counts of first-degree reckless endangerment, driving while ability impaired by drugs, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, unregistered motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle, uninspected motor vehicle, speed not reasonable, moved from lane unsafely, fail to display number plate and unlicensed operator.
At 10:26 p.m. on April 1, sheriff’s deputies responded to a crash on Interstate 86 in the town of Sherman. The driver was identified as Dejesus-Godineaux, and an investigation found that he was driving in excess of 100 mph and “intentionally veered off the roadway after advising the two passengers of the vehicle that he was going to kill them.”
