Arrests May 7

• Jonathan Edward Battles, 27, of Knoxville, was charged May 5 with violation of probation. He was released.
• Thomas S. Carmichael, 45, of Scottsbrough, Alabama, was charged May 5 with theft. He was released.
• Eric Coates, 33, of 3640 Family Circus Way in Kodak, was charged May 5 with arson, vandalism, and theft. He was being held in lieu of $375,000 bond.
• Bill Lee Fonner, 47, of 366 Rock House Road in Kodak, was charged May 5 with DUI, implied consent, violation of registration law, and driving left of center. He was being held in lieu of $2,000 bond.
