Australian driver discovers the quickest way to get arrested

The driver of a Hyundai Excel was arrested in Australia after he ran a red light in the Adelaide suburb of Glenelg which might, at first glance, seem excessive for driving a Hyundai Excel, or even running a red light. But wait, as they say, there’s more.
The South Australia Police say that the man ran the red light in front of a patrol car at 1am as police were patrolling the area after occupants yelled at the police. But still, arrest is a bit of an overreaction, right?
