Our top story. A fourth persons now being questioned by police in relation to the deaths of 39 migrants, found in a lorry container in essex. It was thought the eight women and 31 men were chinese nationals, but a number of vietnamese families have raised concerns their relatives could be among the dead. One woman sent a desperate text message to her mother saying she couldnt breathe hours before the container was discovered. Andy moore reports. The bbc has been contacted by six vietnamese families who believe their loved ones may have been on the lorry. They include pham thi tra my, who was 26. At the time the container was crossing to the uk, she sent a series of text messages, saying i am really, really sorry, mum and dad. My trip to a foreign land has failed. Iam dying. I cant breathe. I love you very much. I am sorry. The bbc has also been contacted by the family of nguyen dinh luong, who was 20 and also missing. Vietnam is very family centric as a culture and everything is done for the family. Parents sacrifice their children, children sacrifice their pa rents children, children sacrifice their parents but in almost all of these situations of trafficking and smuggling, the only people who benefit are the traffickers and smugglers. On thursday, essex police said the victims were believed to be chinese. They now say its a developing picture, and they have made this appeal to anyone who thinks their relatives may have died. I know you may be worried about speaking to the police and i would like to reassure you that we just want to be able to give the victims families answers about what has happened. The work of removing the bodies and transporting them to hospitalfor postmortem examinations continues. Essex police said they would not comment on what they called speculation about the nationalities of those who had tragically lost their lives. Andy moore, bbc news. Andy is in tilbury for us this morning, where the container has been moved to. Whats the latest . We are hearing more information about the people who may have been inside that container . That is right. We know that six families have contacted the bbc. We know, in addition to that, a Community Organisation here in the uk for the emmys people, viethome, they have been receiving phone calls since wednesday morning when the container was discovered. They have photos of 20 people, they say, who may have beenin 20 people, they say, who may have been in that container. They say they are aged between 15 and a5. They say they have had difficulty getting through to the police to raise concerns about these missing vietnamese families and this was that a time when police were saying publicly that they believed the victims to be chinese. Police are now saying that they would not reveal the nationality of any of the victims until they have thoroughly carried out postmortem examinations and properly identified them. Police are working with the Chinese Embassy and the vietnamese embassy. Andy moorhead, thank you. Andy moore. The governor of california has declared an emergency in two areas because of two rapidly spreading wildfires. The Emergency Services have struggled to tackle the fires which have forced about fifty thousand people to leave their homes and left many more without power. Sophie long reports. High temperatures and dry winds feed flames and fear as california burns. With gusts of up to 70 miles an hour, new blazes are sparked before others can be contained. The fire causing most concern is burning through famed vineyards at kincade, about 70 miles north of san francisco. You could actually hear the wind coming down the canyon, over my neighbours, from here. It sounded like a rocket. Another is the tick fire, about 30 miles north of los angeles. As tens of thousands of people were told to abandon their homes, memories are evoked of the devastating wildfires of the past two years that killed more than 100 people. The threat to human life here is real. Last year, the deadliest fire in californias history was sparked by the main Energy Company pg es cables. In recent days, it cut off power to hundreds of thousands of homes to prevent this happening again. But now, it says a high voltage tower was reported damaged close to where the kincade fire started. It is infuriating beyond words to live in a state as innovative and extraordinarily entrepreneurial and capable as the state of california, to be living in an environment where we are seeing this kind of disruption and these kind of blackouts. Much of california is under imminent threat of fire due to the hot, dry conditions, and the danger is increasing. Weather forecasts for the weekend show winds could get even stronger. Sophie long, bbc news, los angeles. Eu ambassadors have agreed to delay brexit, but it looks like they wont set a date until after parliament votes on a potential general election. Boris johnson wants to go to the polls on 12th december, but its not clear if hell get enough mps to back his plan. Lets chat to our Political Correspondent tom barton. He is across this for us this morning. He needs a two thirds majority of mps to get that election that he says he craves . Thats absolutely right. That really is Boris Johnsons absolutely right. That really is borisjohnsons problem. Absolutely right. That really is Boris Johnsons problem. We absolutely right. That really is borisjohnsons problem. We have a conclusion of sorts from eu ambassadors last night but it doesnt get us closer as to what happens next. Although they agreed to an extension to the brexit date, they did not say how long it would be. Its crucial, borisjohnson wa nts to be. Its crucial, borisjohnson wants to hold an election on december 12 but he can only do that with the support of an overwhelming majority of mps. 0pposition parties made it clear that even if they do decide to support an election they will only support one before brexit, meaning that for now, we are no closer to knowing whether or not boris will get the election. The ambassadors say they will work over the weekend and we expect some sort of conclusion from them on monday or tuesday. There is a real disagreement among eu leaders as to how long the extension should be. Whether to the end of the year or whether as the French Emmanuel Macron would like, a short extension ofa macron would like, a short extension of a couple of days or weeks into november, as is often the case with brexit, there are many questions here. All we do know is that Boris Johnson is practically certain to miss his do or die deadline of delivering brexit on thursday this week. Tom barton, thank you for the update. A second mans due to appear in court this morning charged with a double murder at a house party in milton keynes. Dom ansah and ben gillham rice were stabbed to death last weekend. Earl bevans, whos 22, has also been charged with two counts of attempted murder. Another man, 21 year old charlie chandler, was remanded in custody on the same charges. At least a0 people have died in iraq after a fresh wave of Anti Government protests descended into violence. Reports say half of the victims were killed while trying to storm the offices of militia groups and the government. Protesters are demanding more jobs, Better Public Services and an end to corruption. A man from derby has completed an epic 4,000 mile walk around the coast of britain in memory of his daughter, who died from a blood clot in 2011. Martin shipley began his amazing journey from Robin Hoods Bay in yorkshire in february. His wife, maureen, has been supporting him throughout the challenge, and has walked a thousand miles herself. Theyve raised more than £10,000 for charity. What an achievement, 4000 miles in eight months . Thats really quick. Its a long way. Well done to both of them. A number of vietnamese families have told the bbc they fear their loved ones could be among the 39 people found dead in a lorry container in essex this week. Desperate texts were sent from one young woman, pham thi tra my, to her mother saying she couldnt breathe her family last heard from her on tuesday as she made the journey to the uk. Bernie gravett is is a former metropolitan Police Officer and now advises the eu on Human Trafficking. Hejoins us from our brighton studio. Good morning, and thank you for joining us today. Could we talk a bit to start with about the route that migrants would take . If they have come from china or vietnam, or a mix of the two countries or more, how would they have been getting to the uk . Well, one of the things we have to bear in mind here, and we are still speculating, is that the roots are quite different until you get to europe. The chinese would generally come down through afghanistan, kazakhstan, turkmenistan, across through turkey and up what we call the balkan route. With vietnamese, it is very different, they take a northern route. The victims i have dealt with in the pass generally are flown to moscow and then take a land route across Northern Europe and come down from there. I liken this to like amazon. There is a host of resellers and they work together. When they get to europe they look at how they can get to europe they look at how they ca n cioss get to europe they look at how they can cross europe. They use a european registered truck, european drivers, they are less likely to get stopped but these guys come in in small packages, one pramac and two bill mac, and then they are put on the next available transport in ones and twos. We had someone held ina shed ones and twos. We had someone held in a shed for two months while the gangs were negotiating and well walked across ukraine because they could not find a truck. There is no typical in these situations but when you get a group of migrants who arrive and survive the journey to the uk, they would tend to come from Different Countries, would they . And have got together at different times . It isnt like they have made the whole journey in one group . No, no. That is the challenge for the police. At the moment, the police investigation, which is moving at pace i have to say and i congratulate them, they look at the end of that transport network. Human trafficking is the recruitment and movement and the exploitation. The recruitment is always local, whether in china or vietnam, and families are involved. Your earlier speaker clarified that but the families would have pulled money together or borrowed money to pay for these journeys. In vietnam, it is assessed at 20,000 30,000, and in journeys. In vietnam, it is assessed at 20,000 30,000, and in china it is 40,000 50,000 us at 20,000 30,000, and in china it is 40,000 50,000 us dollars. They do have to negotiate all the way that journey to the uk. We had claims, allegations, that some of the people who died in this particular container may have had other peoples passports on them, which again complicates the whole identification process. It may explain why police initially assumed they were all chinese but that may not actually be the case. Does that explain why identification is potentially going to be so long and complicated here . Yes. This is a cruel stage for families. Hundreds, if not thousands, are currently on those routes. I appreciate we are getting calls from vietnam saying that their loved ones are missing is an they may be on the lorry but they could be on another lorry. These lorries come through on a weekly basis, we have just lorries come through on a weekly basis, we havejust found one. 0thers basis, we havejust found one. Others get through undetected and the victims go on to be exploited in the victims go on to be exploited in the uk. That is a separate tragedy playing out here, people in their home countries are becoming increasingly stressed that their loved one that they know went out on this journey for loved one that they know went out on thisjourney for a loved one that they know went out on this journey for a promised loved one that they know went out on thisjourney for a promised better life could be one of those victims but we have to wait and see. That is the pressure on essex and they are quite rightly saying, you have to wait and give us time because this will be a slow process. You are right, victims are given fake documents. With chinese, generally they are given korean or other documents depending on the country 01 documents depending on the country or destination. 0ften documents depending on the country or destination. Often they are stripped of all documentation so when they get to the uk, documents are provided relating to this country. Identification will be extremely hard, if not for the weeks to come. In the meantime, no charges have been brought. Thank you very much. With us now from our london newsroom is tamsin barber, a lecturer who specialises in migration between vietnam and the uk. We are hearing a hint there of perhaps the scale of the problem, and the desperate measures, the desperate lengths people go to to move. Can you give us. Is there any indication, we are talking about one lorry, is there any indication how many people may be moving across europe like this . No, i dont think ican give europe like this . No, i dont think i can give you an indication of that im afraid, i think the last speaker alluded to those but i do not have the numbers to give, im afraid. What position would people be in, when you are dealing with people in vietnam, how desperate are they to leave, and why . 0k, vietnam, how desperate are they to leave, and why . Ok, so the family of the young girl in the new story yesterday, she comes from a northern central area of vietnam where it is a very rural area and in 2016, there had been a very severe environmental disaster at a factory meaning that the fishing industry has been damaged quite severely. So, for pham thi tra mys families, and communities are desperate to find other sources of income. Presumably, many of the migrants leaving vietnam, it is not necessarily their individual choice to leave, this could be a decision the whole family has taken, the Wider Community and family involved in raising money, whether that is selling land and property to raise the huge funds to transport a vietnamese Family Member to the uk to try and find other means of income and sending money home. What preparations do people make for taking this journey . It seems shocking, that people will travel in this situation in a confined space. How do they prepare to travel . Well, i think that many of the migrants are aware that this isa of the migrants are aware that this is a long journey and a precarious journey that may take many months. There are many different points along the way, and some sometimes migrants stay in a different european country and work there for a while before moving on to the uk. I think the issue is, that sometimes negative experiences and stories about these journeys from migrants who have taken this route do not necessarily make their way home, back to vietnam. So these migrants may not be aware of some of the real dangers that face them on their journey. And how would a family raise the huge amount of money required to pay for the journey . Yeah, a common strategy has been to sell land, to sell property. Other strategies are borrowing money at high rates for moneylenders, which ta kes a high rates for moneylenders, which takes a very long time to payback and the longer take, the higher it is to pay back. That is why sometimes when vitamins migrants are caught in the uk and sent back, it can cause big problems for their families because they need to quickly repay those debts. Thank you very much indeed. Heres louise with a look at this mornings weather. Hello, ive probably got something for everyone this weekend we still have the rain around, you can see where it is stretching all the way back to the atlantic. This Conveyor Belt of water will move across the south west, through the midlands and into wales and northern england, gradually slipping south and east but we do have weather warnings in. A couple of inches across wales overnight and another couple of inches are expected through the day before it eases away. Theres the possibility of disruption. This is where the rain is sitting. To the north, low pressure drives in some scattered showers across the far north of scotland. It is called here, some turn wintry on Higher Ground but there are spells of sunshine across scotland and Northern Ireland today. At the same time, rain pushes into the south east by the middle of the afternoon so we should gradually see afternoon so we should gradually see a clearance. Drier conditions by the end of the day. That comes as welcome news. A windy day on those exposed south coasts. In excess of 50 miles an hour in places, a blustery scenario. Mild in the south east. Much colder behind, at least in scotland and Northern Ireland you do have some sunshine which is an indication of what is to come as we go into tomorrow. The rain in the south east taking its time to clear overnight but when it does, though skies continue to clear which allows this colder air to push right down across the country. The yellow tones and milder air moving into the near continent. With that northerly flow it will be a chilly start on sunday. Low single figures in places but it will be sunny and to give you more good news, we get an extra hour in bed i can hear you cheering. That is great news for us getting up early and good news if you are having a lion. 0n getting up early and good news if you are having a lion. On top of that, the good news is once you open the curtains, sparkling blue sky across the country. A chilly start but the showers continue to be a nuisance in scotland. Look at temperatures falling back on the 911 in temperatures falling back on the 9 11 in the north. Highest values of 12 or 14 degrees. It does look as though it will continue into next week. The dry theme that stays with us, a lot of sunshine, cold by day and night so some overnight frosts could be an issue. Thank you. You dont always get what you want though youre watching breakfast from bbc news, its time now for a look at the newspapers. Lets look at the front pages. The times headline uses the words of a vietnamese woman who is feared to be among the 39 people found dead in a lorry trailer in essex on wednesday. She text her mum saying she couldnt breathe. The guardian also leads with the same story, saying that some of the vietnamese citizens on board may have been travelling on fake chinese passports. As weve been hearing this morning, that can be part of the problem, pa rt that can be part of the problem, part of the delay in identifying the victims. New Strictlyjudge Motsi Mabuse has opened up to the daily mirror about the racism that she and her younger sister 0ti experienced while growing up in south africa. Motsi told the paper they struggled to find dance teachers during the countrys apartheid era. And, finally, the daily express reports on how its columnist charlie pleasant will benefit from a new deal which allows the nhs to offer life changing Cystic Fibrosis drugs. That was announced on thursday, that change by the government. Sabrina cohen hatton is here to tell us whats caught her eye. Good morning. You are starting with something close to your dayjob, basically, a story about the weather . It is. We have got predictions for floods at the moment. That is something none of us particularly wa nt moment. That is something none of us particularly want to know about but u nfortu nately, particularly want to know about but unfortunately, it is becoming a more regular occurrence in the country due to Climate Change and a number of other things. In my dayjob, in the fire and rescue service, we deal with it quite often. We underestimate the work and coordination that go into dealing with disasters like this. An incident like a flooding will be spread over a large area. It can be quite challenging to coordinate Something Like that. And, the amount of hours of work that go into it from firefighters, police and paramedics, from the people who we trust to call out and deal with this is phenomenal. So, none of us are particularly pleased when we see flooding alerts but it is something we need to deal with more and more often. And as a psychologist you know the impact it can have, people leaving their homes and people losing possessions. It can be devastating for months or years after the water has gone . You forget about the human impact when you are trying to deal with it but that point is very real. It can be really ha rd to point is very real. It can be really hard to know that everything you have had and everything youve loved dearly is completely damaged by floodwaters. And not know what you have or you do not have to go back to is just absolutely heartbreaking. Talking of heartbreaking and empathy, the next story that you picked is about people being looked after in care homes and how technology is changing how we look after Vulnerable People . Yes, i thought this was fascinating. We talk about the developments we have in technology and quite often we associate it with things we can now do. Something of practical help that this is talking about the human side of how we can develop. If you think about robots doing a lot of things, they can clean up some mess but we are trying to develop protocols so the robots help the people that need help and pick up the person who has fallen over before they clean up the mess. When you read this you think, ill be trying to develop a mini human . Will this be like human some of the tv show that was on a little while ago. But this is more practical and prioritising the activity you need, not creating another person. Everybody needs a cuddle when they fall over. You cannot cuddle a robot if in tapping a care home, i think i want that one metal mickey you can cuddle henry the dog, this is the daily express . Henry the dog, this is the daily express . This is wonderful, this young lady had a syndrome which meant she would black out every so often, she was studying for an Animal Sciences degree and because of her syndrome it was difficult for her to cope. This dog, henry, was able to alert her five minutes before she blacks out so she can get into a safe position. When she graduated, the dog got his own degree. I love this story, sometimes we ta ke degree. I love this story, sometimes we take for granted the incredible work we take in our caring animals andi work we take in our caring animals and ijust work we take in our caring animals and i just love dogs. Work we take in our caring animals and ijust love dogs. He is so cute he definitely wins the dog of the day and according to the daily express, he now has a dog terate this is one of these push it forward stories . I was reading the newspapers this morning, this is the first time ive been able to do it without a nine year old jumping on me icame without a nine year old jumping on me i came across this story and as a mum, it checked me out. This was a lovely story, of a random act of kindness. This lady had gone to buy her birthday cake for her three year old, only to discover that somebody had already paid for it and left her a note and when she read the note, it said this lady had a stillborn child called tilly and today would have been her third birthday and she wanted to recognise some other childs birthday and happiness in memory of her stillborn child. This story, for me, shows that courage and bravery, that somebody could have in the face of grief and loss. The change of perspective and how powerful that can be, on a tragically sad day, that lady has made someone elses day. Turning something so horribly negative and traumatic into something positive. And the mum has said that she wants to thank through the newspaper article, thank the stranger who did that. Thank you very much indeed. Less than an hour to go until england get their bid to reach the Rugby World Cup final under way as they face the mighty all blacks in yokohama. Kyle sinckler could be one of the key players, and fiona lamdin is soaking up the atmosphere at his local rugby club. Good morning, yes, less than one hour until englands biggest game in 12 years. I would suggest that there is nowhere in the country as excited as these guys right now this is battersea, where he started his career. He was about the age of these guys when he started playing by. These guys when he started playing rugby. I will come over to these young this morning. They have been up young this morning. They have been up super early, how early this morning . 6 30am. You couldnt sleep . How are you feeling. Gray very nervous, new zealand is a strong tea m nervous, new zealand is a strong team and their defences are really good. It will be hard for england to get past. Can they do it . The tension is building, new zealand are a strong side but so are england. It will be a good match. Predictions . 20, but to england and you have a good luck charm to this morning . Lets hear it . Two, three. Ironside ironside studio we were talking earlier about confronting the haka. We are back in a minute with the headlines. Hello and welcome to breakfast withjon kay and sally nugent. Good morning, heres a summary of todays main stories from bbc news. A fourth persons being questioned by police in relation to the deaths of 39 migrants, found in a lorry container in essex. It was thought the eight women and 31 men were chinese nationals, but a number of vietnamese families have raised concerns their relatives could be among the dead. One woman sent a desperate text message to her mother saying she couldnt breathe hours before the container was discovered. The lorry was discovered in the early hours of wednesday morning. 0ne family has told the bbc their relative had paid £30,000 to get to the uk. Earlier we heard from a Human Trafficking analyst in vietnam who told us about the lengths families will go to make the journey. That is 30 years of salary for somebody living in a rural area, may even more. £30,000 is not the highest number i have heard being paid to get smuggled into the uk europe. I had seen, heard, i have interviewed people who have paid as high as 50,000 to go. They continue to incur debt on theirjourney. So, it is an astronomical sum, but it is a sanitary parent to take their loan from loan sharks or parents, you know, to send a child over to go themselves, for them it is worth it. They believe this is the best way for them or their child to have a better future. Eu ambassadors have agreed to delay brexit. But it looks like they wont set a date until after parliament votes on a potential general election. Borisjohnson wants to go to the polls on 12th december, but its not clear if hell get enough mps to back his plan. Business minister Kwasi Kwarteng joins us from westminster. Thank you for coming on a saturday. These are busy days, last saturday correcting, too, were too . But here we are when we cant, nothing sorted, complete deadlock. I think the public boaters are just exasperated. How can we as a governmentjust sort exasperated. How can we as a government just sort this out . think youre right and one of the reasons why the Prime Minister wants to have a general election is precisely because people are fed up with this. They look at the parliament, delegate they do nothing obstructionist parliament and ideal that we can do better than that. And i think we can and i think it is important that we have a general election, which will bring in a new parliament, which i think get the job done. I do not know whether that many people are so desperate for a general election. I know it helps borisjohnson, general election. I know it helps Boris Johnson, tells general election. I know it helps borisjohnson, tells you as a government, potentially, if you were to end, to try and have a bit of clarity. But i wonder of a lot people would say, look, do not ask us people would say, look, do not ask us to sort it out. You are the politicians, we elected you, this is what portions and campaign for it is up what portions and campaign for it is up to you, the government, to sort it out. As we have seen, and juicer said in your opening segment, is that people are looking at parliament and safety is a com pletely parliament and safety is a completely obstructionist parliament that will not anything and i think you had it quite right in your opening introduction. Now, the reason, the way to get beyond that is to have a new parliament. The way you get a new parliament is to have a general election, so it makes perfect sense, given that we have had this impasse. It is not something which came out of the blue sky, we have had the situation since june 2017, that is to do happier to go. We have not made much headway at all, so i think the Prime Minister is quite right in saying that we need to have a fresh look at this and have a general election. Jeremy corbyn says he will support a general election if and when you guarantee that there will never be a no deal brexit. Can you legislate in some way, can you do something to given that guarantee, if youre so desperate to get that selection . You will remember that parliament itself try to do that the so called benn act, which is a surrender act, essentially, because it is given the eu the final say and that is what it has now. The eu are deciding how long the extension, if there is one, will be. So, i think the benn act has tried to do its work, it is very old thatjeremy corbyn are saying this, because for two years he wanted, he wanted a general election and asked for it every week. I remember very well and theresa may was Prime Minister or he would talk about, was a need for a general election. Now, he seems to have changed his mind and that is because they have not taken no deal of the table. But when he was asking for a general election for two years, our policy was that no deal was better than a badger. So, no deal has a lwa ys than a badger. So, no deal has always been a potential outcome and he has just changes always been a potential outcome and he hasjust changes mind and i do not think it has anything to do with the status of no deal, the fact that he has changed his mind in this way. What about the statements that were coming from downing street on thursday night, saying if we cannot have a general election, appointment or not gives a general election, we are effectively going to go on strike as a government. We will not do anything to beget approval. And thenit do anything to beget approval. And then it seems yesterday that downing street wrote back on that. There does seem to be a sense of confusion, really, about how Boris Johnsons government is handling this admittedly difficult situation, it seems rather chaotic. It is a difficult position, do not think the position of the government is chaotic at all. We have managed to secure a deal, which most people said was impossible. I was on the programme only two months ago and was told there was no way the eu would open a Withdrawal Agreement and we did that. The Prime Minister got a deal, he got a steal through the second reading. So, i do not believe that it is chaotic at all. I think it has been relatively successful. Thank you very much indeed. Those are the main stories this morning. Not line out to a deli begin for england rugby. Huge, the biggest game in years. The semifinal to the world cup. Look about nervous, john. Ido world cup. Look about nervous, john. I do not be me. Huge game and you canjust imagine i do not be me. Huge game and you can just imagine how i do not be me. Huge game and you canjust imagine how eddiejones is feeling right now, when you consider the history that england have both new zealand and has not gone the way, i can tell you that much. It is a massive game, willie appears in the all, blacks, it is something out ita the all, blacks, it is something out it a bit different. Just 20 minutes to now, the first semifinal of the world cup in japan. To now, the first semifinal of the world cup injapan. Englands history against the all blacks obey hanging over eddie jones history against the all blacks obey hanging over eddiejones guitar clouds, never mind that weather. England have never beaten them in a world cup, in fact, england have never beaten them in a world cup, infact, in england have never beaten them in a world cup, in fact, in the 41 meetings, new zealand have lostjust seven times. The last one was in 2012 at twickenham. They have not last a world cup match at all since 2007. They are bidding for an unprecedented third consecutive world cup title. So, the question for eddiejones, world cup title. So, the question for eddie jones, how world cup title. So, the question for eddiejones, how db2 . World cup title. So, the question for eddie jones, how db2 . One of those things where ye, something she can teach on something she have to learn from experience. There are days that great story of the guy hanging of the cliff and he said my skills are scripted, the only thing that can stop is my mind. It is so true in big games. It is how we were able to play your focus at that particular moment. That is not the only rugby we have, the league lions play their first tour match for 12 yea rs. We might mention leicester. We have a few guests. A record breaking night in the premier league, leicester went 90 to the premier league, leicester went 9 0 to southampton, in pretty brittle conditions, actually. An incredible match that we will look back on as well. We have got loads of other stuff coming up, as well. They say should not ever meet heroes, so we had sent, who did we send . Chris heroes, so we had sent, who did we send . Chris box, heroes, so we had sent, who did we send . Chris box, world cup england winning cricketer, we sent him to meet his aston villa hero. What is actually a really nice piece. A real mutual sporting respect between the two of them we can see a clip from now. But bell is always the dream. But boy is always the dream. Like, the less and from i was this big. And then obsolete playing a bit and i had and then obsolete playing a bit and ihada and then obsolete playing a bit and i had a trial here, actually. Did you . I had a trial here, actually. Did you . Then i had a trial here, actually. Did you . Then cricket took over. Its almost out well in the end. Chris tweeted immediately after the interview saying he needed to write on his injury technique, but i think that really adds to it. It is a lovely chat between the two of them about their sporting successes. I have also been to see sebastian, the re cord have also been to see sebastian, the record signing from west ham. Across the countries there are rugby clu bs across the countries there are rugby clubs doing the same thing. Heres louise with a look at this mornings weather. You should not need an excuse to listen or watch the rugby this morning, but she had a perfect 100 is cloud and rain. Not a day for being out. It will start to ease away, but we have seen a couple of inches through the night across the south west and into wales. Theres another couple of inches to come, as well. To the south east, and incredibly milestone to our day, but it is all about the rain at the moment. Particularly across south wales but we still have amber weather warnings. There are other burnings out as well, do let on the met Office Website for further details. Parts of the south west, wales, the midlands and then with england, this is by the rain has been so far and it will take its time to clear away. It will slip slowly south and east. By contrast, for scotland and Northern Ireland, some lovely spells of sunshine this morning. There are some showers around into the north west, to be pretty windy here, as well. Some of the showers as the cold air kicks and will turn increasingly wintry. So, as and will turn increasingly wintry. So, as i go through the afternoon it will be windy for all. A slow improvement across Northern Ireland, england and wales as the brain pushes its base at these. Here though, despite the train arriving late in the afternoon, with a state miles. 16 to 18 degrees possibly in one or two spots. Calder behind, 79 celsius. The rain slips out overnight and the cold air such to push its way across the country. Plenty of showers continue to the far west. The talking point tomorrow morning will be the weather, a noticeable difference at the blue tones pushing right across the country. Losing of figures and a few rural spots, single figures for all of us. The other talking point could be if forget to put the clock back and arrive an hour early. Do not forget, we are getting extra hour in bed. Welcome news for many of us, i am sure. And then we will be greatly by sparkly blue sky and sunshine, a chilly start, but a good deal of dry weather in the forecast. Showers continue into the north and it will continue into the north and it will continue to feel quite cool. They went to be a little bit leiter, but those temperatures really struggling. It affected celsius. If you like this kind of weather, you will like the week ahead. High pressure will keep with us, things stay quite quiet and dry. Certainly welcome news to close out the month 0ctober. Chilly by day and by night. Its hard to imagine the horrors of the beaches at dunkirk during the second world war, but its something that the team behind the bbcs latest blockbuster drama world on fire have worked hard to replicate. Youll see the spectacular scenes tomorrow. Months of preparations went into creating a set the size of 30 football pitches on the sands of lytham st annes, and 250 extras were involved in filming the journey to dunkirk. Well bejoined in a moment by one of the stars of the show, but first lets get a sneak peak of tomorrow nights episode. It comes as little surprise, but with no less horrid to the rest of europe that belgium, like poland before it, has fallen. The allied forces had failed to overcome the campaign. They are far outnumbered. Many british troops now find themselves cornered, it seems they have little choice but to head to the coast. Many take in the same route as thousands of displaced civilians. Where are we . Who knows where . We are heading to the coast. That is all we need to know. So we do not know where we are . Shelter, large who is that . Actor cel spellman joins us now. You have been so busy recently. Just watching that, though, it is the sort of production where, in that scene we have just seen, that i imagine is one take only . Yes, anything that involves the special effects or where they bring in the visual effects, it involves a lot of rehearsals and then, especially if there an explosion, you have one chance. A case of making sure it is drilled into everyone and them and everybody are set to go, hope everybody are set to go, hope everybody gets it right. So, the pressure is on you as an actor, but also just as pressure is on you as an actor, but alsojust as a pressure is on you as an actor, but also just as a human being, remembering what your week three eating. It must be intense . Yes, and also, as well, quite humbling, as well. You are able to put themselves able to put yourself in these young mens shoes. Just dip your toe and experience what they felt. It all added to it, you know, that pressure and nervousness and also the kind of adrenaline rush is something that would have been very real for something that would have been very realfor them at something that would have been very real for them at the time. So, what did you learn filming this . L real for them at the time. So, what did you learn filming this . A real appreciation for what young went through. Any soldier during the time of world war ii, you know. We were quite lucky in that we were really looked after by u filming and of course you have lots of people evolve. But even just be in the uniform and to put yourself in that scenario is, granted they are not real, really makes you stop and think it is quite harrowing what they had to go through. Watching your vintage, the explosions at the plains, how much of that is real and how much of that is added on later to graphics and production . how much of that is added on later to graphics and production . A lot of it is real. We were very lucky but the bbc that no expense was spared. The attention to detail was second to none. It was one of the biggest things that i have ever done. He mentioned before on the beach, supporting artists, we had another 250 to 300, ijust tried to make it as well as possible, as it was on the day. The planes, that was all addedin the day. The planes, that was all added in post. But the majority is all there for you to see and be a lie. That makes yourjob is a bit easier, as well. So, and i right in thinking this is that sedans . That is suspect by any sound. Theres an Incredible Connection between you and the other actors in the show, you can really see that. What was it like . Did you develop lifelong friendships . It was one of the great things that come out of my experience with world on fire was the friendships. We realised very early doors into felony, we began in prague in early october, november, that we already collected and jailed. We particularly seem to for this ridiculous bond, almost like a band of brothers. We were thrown into these situations and all you kind of harvest each other. But we really lucked out, we became really close. All three them are brilliant actors and wonderful people. Let us get a sense of that sense of camaraderie. There is another clip we have got, which is your character with his mates making their way to dunkirk. Shell exhibit like you, private. Sure you have not been to france before . Two months ago i had not been out of leeds. Just a petrol tank josh, just a petroltank josh, stay just a petrol tank josh, stay with her. What is that noise . You said it was a humbling experience, i mean, you are a young man, that is kind of ancient history in some ways. Did you find you learnt a lot in some ways about the word about the sacrifices . So much. It was quite interesting to think about the prep going into it. The character himself would not have known what was going on in the world at the time, he would only have nobler he was from, leeds, and then he got thrust into this very difficult, extraordinary wealth of the war. But, you know, it was great to read up and learn about other going on in all the Different Countries at the time, people were getting involved, what different armies were involved and that whole journey back to dunkirk which is fascinating to learn about. We are so fascinating to learn about. We are so nearly at a time, but what you up to at the moment . Were doing another series which is great. So, we are cracking on that and i have just finishing another series for netflix called clients. Do a double he does mark at the same time . Called white lines. I am very fortu nate called white lines. I am very fortunate i will do it for as long asi fortunate i will do it for as long as i can. World on fire is on bbc 0ne tomorrow night at 9pm.
