And sent his condolences to the victims families. The attacker reported to be a jordanian Truck Driver was shot dead by israeli security forces. The incident happened at the King Hussein Allenby bridge crossing. The victims are thought to have been private security personnel. Jordan has launched an investigation into the shootings. Jordan and israel signed a Peace Treaty in 1994 and have close security and economic ties, but diplomatic relations have been strained. Lets hear from an eyewitness who was at the crossing at the time of the attack. Translation we were sitting and standing at the checkpoint| waiting for our turn after the bus in front of us was searched. There was a bus and a truck in front of us. A man got out and he carried out the shooting. Thank God Nothing happened to us, or nothing happened to us or the passengers, but the Truck Drivers were put on the ground. We bus passengers didnt know what to do. We were panicking. Mike thomson is our our correpondent injerusalem. He told me more about thejordanian investigation. The two countries do have, or have had, quite close relations in some ways on security. But tensions have been rising becausejordan does have a very high population of palestinian refugees, many of whom have been deeply critical of israeli action in gaza. And you mentioned that, i mean, what do you think could change, if anything, when it comes to that relationship, given todays events . Well, its very hard to say at the moment. I mean, we dont know, for instance, whether this man whos been named. The suspect, named as maherjazi by the israeli security service, we dont know whether he acted alone or in a group or whether he was directly backed by iran or hamas or whatever. But obviously, even though they have their tensions, Jordan And Israel will want to try and sort something out here. Neither is going to welcome the sort of events weve seen today at the allenby bridge Border, because that really is quite horrific. And, mike, all of this, of course, comes amid increased activity in the occupied West Bank. And of course, as we mentioned in the introduction, that nine Day Operation Injenin has now drawn to a close, but were seeing more and more killings there as well. Yes, thats right. Israeli forces have pulled out ofjenin. Thats a Flashpoint City in the West Bank. They pulled out of there now, but its believed something like 39 people, or at least that number, died during that operation. And there are continued tensions. When we look at the events there since the start of the gaza war, its reckoned that more than this is by the palestinian Health Ministry that more than 660 palestinians have been killed over that period, and around 23 israelis, according to israeli security forces. So it looks like something that could always spiral even further out of control. And that is whats worrying people, that this could really take off. Hamas has repeatedly called for an uprising in the West Bank. Until recently, there hasnt been one quite on the scale that hamas wants. But we did have a suicide bombing, that Again Hamas has called for not long ago, in israel, carried out by a palestinian extremist. So there is huge cause of concern here that this could spiral completely out of control. This latest incident comes amid increased activity in the occupied West Bank. Last week, israeli forces withdrew from jenin after a nine Day Operation there. The palestinian Health Ministry says more than 600 palestinians have been killed in violence in the West Bank, since the hama attacks on October 7th. Meanwhile, overnight, there were Missile Exchanges between israel and the lebanese militant group, hezbollah, with a number of projectiles fired from both directions across the Border. 94700 injured since Israel Military Offensive began in the wake of the attacks on the 7th of october. Arman mahmoudian is a middle East Researcher at the university of south florida. I asked him for is analysis on how the latest of elements might impact the relationship. The latest developments. This is a very major change of event. I doubt that its going to deteriorate thejordanian and israeli relationship, thejordanian government obviously didnt have any role in it. It actually might expand the Security Relations between the israelis and thejordanians. But i believe the significant point is that it changes the Security Dynamic of the jordanian israeli Border and also West Bank issues. We know we have seen an endeavour by the iranian and irans Axis Of Resistance since 2016 when they established the imam hossein brigade, a brand new proxy in syria, to smuggle weapons to thejordanian palestinian population, and also to the West Bank. Now, it is very soon to say that this is related to that, but we do know that it has been an endeavour, and irans supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei publicly said that iran has to move the Axis Of Resistance, has to move to arm or weaponise the West Bank. If it is related to that, and if they had success to send weapons and arms and militias intojordan or the West Bank, we will see a major significant change of event in terms of the Security Dynamic in that area. And i think israelis actually should take this event more seriously, rather than what happened, although the casualty in gaza was obviously some of the October 7th attack was very horrible. The West Bank has a 3 Million population, a great number of thejordanian population are also palestinian. Are also palestinian descent. They say any change, any chaos in that region would lead to a conflict that would be very hard to put it off or suppress it for any of the parties. You mentioned of course in that answer quite a lot about some of the increased tensions in the occupied West Bank. We were saying at the beginning of the programme that the nine Day Operation Injenin has come to a conclusion but there are still ongoing tensions there. Yeah, its going to be an ongoing tension, and i believe there are various reasons that are actually fuelling the tension. One is a matter of the war in gaza. The other issue i believe is going to be the recent reports that shows or indicates an increasing number of the jewish settlers in the West Bank areas. They are also increasing their population. I doubt thejenin operation, or any operation, limited operation, strategic or tactical operation on that level could actually resolve the matter. I think, as the war in gaza continues, as the conflict of exchange of fire between the Israelis And Hezbollah in the north continues, the tension in the West Bank would intensify even further, even though the israelis have the Security Dominance, relative Security Dominance over the West Bank area. But i doubt that they can really control the area on a really marginal level. Here in the uk, prime Minister Sir Keir starmer says, in order to fix the economy, hes prepared for his government to be unpopular including by Axing Winterfuel payments for pensioners. Sir keir has defended the move, which will be the subject of a vote in the House Of Commons this week. Heres our political correspondent, georgia roberts. Tough choices, difficult decisions. In his first Tv Interview in Downing Street with the bbc s laura kuenssberg, the Prime Minister was clear hes prepared to be disliked. Were going to have to be unpopular. Tough decisions are tough decisions. Popular decisions arent tough, theyre easy. The things the last government ran away from, that governments traditionally run away from, im convinced that because theyve run away from difficult decisions, we havent got the change we need for the country. His early popularity problems mainly stem from the decision to scrap Winter Fuel payments for all but the poorest pensioners, worth up to £300 a year. The government says it will save over £1 billion this year by doing so, a necessary saving because of claims of a £22 billion Black Hole in the countrys finances. Nearly half of that £22 billion, £9 billion comes from decisions that your government has made to give many public sector workers pay rises above inflation. The last government set up the Pay Review mechanism, as every government does every year, and they set the framework for that. And they knew that the Pay Review recommendations would come back. What they didnt do was allocate any money at all to the outcome. The prime Minister Wouldnt say what the consequences would be for Labour Mps who rebel against him in a vote on the issue in the commons next week. But this Labour Mp is among those who have already made up their mind to abstain. This isnt about unpopular or difficult decisions. Its about impossible decisions for our elderly. Already weve seen that the economic case has been shredded. A report into the Grenfell Fire Tragedy this week found deep historic failings on fire safety. There are at least 2,000 buildings in the uk still waiting to have Flammable Cladding removed. The prime Minister Couldnt say when those thousands of homes would be safe, but acknowledged it was taking too long. Were speeding up the process. I want to get this done as quickly as possible. Each block will be on a different timetable. Im not able to give you an end date, but i can tell you i meant what i said when i responded to the report. I said, this has to be a turning point. For a government elected to achieve change, its been a gloomy debut. This is a Prime Minister who will continue to warn us all that that change will, at least for now, have to come at a cost. Venezuelas opposition leader, edmundo gonzalez, has landed at a spanish military base. These are the latest pictures from madrid military airport. He left the country after challenging president Nicolas Maduro in elections injuly, which the opposition claims it won. He also has the support of other countries, including the us and eu, who said he was the winner. Mr gonzalez had taken refuge in the Spanish Embassy in caracas. Heres the spanish Foreign Minister on granting Mr Gonzalez political asylum. Translation i was able to speak to him once he was on the plane and he expressed his gratitude to the government and to spain. I told him how happy we are that he is well and on his way to spain and i reiterated our commitment of all venezuelans. We reiterate our demand that the Vote Tallies be presented, that they be verifiable and they will not recognise a victory if that cannot be done. Spain will always be there to promote Dialogue And Negotiation between the government and opposition. To reach a peaceful solution among venezuelans. The internationally renowed specialist childrens hospital, great 0rmond Street in london, says that its carrying out a review of more than 700 patients cases after concerns were raised about one of its former surgeons, yasarjabber, a consultant orthopaedic surgeon. Our correspondent Nicky Schiller told us more about why this investigation had been launched. Great 0rmond Street, which, as you said, is world famous for treating children, says it is looking at 721 patients, all children who had come into contact with yasserjabber while he worked there as a surgeon. Now he is reported to be an expert in limb reconstruction. Now, so far, of the 39 cases reviewed, more than half were found to have been harmed. 13 of those patients severely. Now, lawyers representing some of the families treated by Yasserjabber Say that children as young as four months old were subjected to unnecessary surgery and suffered life changing injuries, with one child having to undergo an amputation that could possibly have been avoided if different treatment had been followed. Now elizabeth maniacal is from the solicitors representing seven of the children. She says the claims are shocking. Have a listen to what shes had to say. Clients that we have been instructed to represent in claims against Mrjabber Have suffered a variety of orthopaedic injuries. Some of them have nerve damage, some of them have muscle damage. We have a client that has undergone an amputation of his lower limb. We have clients that have permanent deformities that have undergone unnecessary operations as well. Now, great 0rmond Street has said it is incredibly sorry for the Worry And Uncertainty that this has caused and that it has contacted all patients and families affected. Now, in addition to the cases that i mentioned that have been fully reviewed, it says 456 cases have been looked at by a senior nurse and a paediatrician and have not been categorised as needing their most urgent attention. Now it is going to take 18 months to complete this review and, again, the solicitor representing some of the children wants it done as quickly as possible. I understand the difficulties, given the sheer volume of number of cases, that the trust has to review, that it will take time to undertake that review. What we would urge the trust to do is to try and undertake that review as soon as possible. What we do know from representing clients who are children is that sometimes the injuries dont manifest until theyre much older, and families and our clients, the patients, want to know firstly if they have suffered harm from the treatment they have already received, or alternatively, whether they are likely to suffer injuries in the future on account of treatment they have received. And if that is the case, they may wish to seek Treatment And Advice elsewhere. Its very important for them to know that. So the sooner the trust can can conclude that, the better we know that they have, um, asked five independent surgeons to review the care. We know that this is a very Niche Area of medicine, and the availability of surgeons will be limited, but we would urge them to widen the scope so that there are more surgeons involved in that independent review, so it can be undertaken in a shorter period of time as possible. I mean, nicky, listening to that, its clear that this is an incredibly serious investigation. What have we heard, if at all, from the surgeon in the centre of all of this . Yasserjabbar. Well, yasserjabbar no longer works for great 0rmond Street, and he has not been licensed to practice in the uk since january this year. But we understand that he is still working at an orthopaedic clinic in dubai. Now, of course, we have contacted mrjabbar for comment but so far we havent heard back from him. Lets turn to ukraine, where at least two civilians have been killed, and four injured including two children in russian strikes on the northern ukrainian city of sumy. Ukraines Air Force says it destroyed 15 of 23 drones and one guided Air Missile launched by russia in the overnight attack. City authorities say several homes and cars were damaged. Meanwhile, in poltava, funerals have been taking places for victims of the recent russian missle attack, which killed at least 55 people and injuired more than 300. The strike, on september the 3rd, was one of the deadliest since the beginning of the war. I spoke to peter dickinson, editor of ukraine alert, atlantic council, whos in kyiv. It is the town that is served the city. Rather, that has served as the Embarkation Point for ukraines own invasion of russia recently into the neighbouring Kursk Region of russia. So its close to the Border. Its the place where ukraine has been consolidating its forces in order to send them across the Border into kursk. So its now very much, after having spent much of the war relatively quiet, is now very much on the front lines of the war. These recent attacks, these overnight attacks that happened last night and this morning, are the latest in a series of similar strikes. The attacks seem to be targeting the civilian population there, in what can be described and reaching any sort of a Peace Settlement or moving towards peace will be impossible. So they are saying very clearly, ukraine, more and more so in fact that they need the green light, the restrictions removed, the green light to be able to strike at targets inside russia. Super Typhoon Yagi has left a trail of destruction across northern vietnam, killing at least 14 people and injuring more than 170. A family of four was killed in a landslide caused by Heavy Rains and fishermen are missing at sea. The storm lifted roofs from buildings and uprooted trees. Although the typhoon has now been downgraded to a tropical depression, vietnamese authorities are warning about the continued risk of flooding and landslides as the storm moves westwards. Donald trump has said hes Very Offended after Vladimir Putin endorsed his rival Kamala Harris for the us presidency. Speaking at a rally in the key Swing State of wisconsin, Mr Trump told supporters he didnt believe Mr Putin was serious, and insisted he was the toughest candidate in his approach to moscow. Russia would have never happened if i were president. Attacking ukraine would have never happened. I knew putin, i knew him well. And, you know, he endorsed, i dont know if you saw the other day he endorsed kamala, he endorsed kamala. I was Very Offended by that. I wonder why he endorsed kamala. No, hes a chess player. He endorsed kamala. Should i be congressman . Should i be upset about that . Should i be. Congressman, should i be upset about that . No. Huh . Was it done with a smile, ron . Was it done with a smile . I think it was done maybe with a smile. I dont know. Who the hell knows . His comments follow remarks by Mr Putin at the eastern economic forum in vladivostok, when he said Kamala Harris was russias preferred choice for the next us president. Translation she has such an expressive and infectious laugh. It shows shes doing well. I mean, trump has imposed more restrictions and sanctions on russia than any president has ever imposed before. And if Mrs Harris is doing well, maybe she will refrain from doing something like that. All that comes as the us sanctioned Russian Media and Accused Moscow of a widespread campaign to interfere with the president ial election. King charles has sent a message of congratulations to the gb Paralympics Team and teams from across the commonwealth on the final day of the paris games. Behind every medal, he said, was a wonderful story of courage, commitment and true talent, matched by a determination that has taken you to the very top. Your example has succeeded in inspiring, encouraging and lifting the hearts of all. And theres been plenty of action ahead of tonights Closing Ceremony, including men and womens marathons, with the Wheelchair Basketball and powerlifting finals also taking place. China topped the medal table, but Team Gb came second. Lauren rowles has become the first woman to have won a Rowing Gold at three paralympic games. She told me how the experience this year has been. Thank you. You can probably hear the noise of the Closing Ceremony here in the Olympic Village and what games is being. The Home Crowd was packed out with the british people so its been incredible. And this isnt the first time you have won a gold which is so remarkable. This is your third, right . Yes, third paralympics and third gold and first ever to win three back to back titles in the sport so its one of the things, that goal in life that ive had for such a long time now and since starting the sport and when i first started rowing nearly ten years ago i looked around the Rowing Lake and looked at my idols and thought, maybe one day that could be me, and enter their league and last week exactly one week ago today, i hopefully entered that leak with them, into their legendary status. We are all proud of you and just tell us what sort of work it takes. Obviously you been training for years to get to your third but what does that involve a daily basis in the lead up to the paralympics . 0bviously like the olympic games, the paralympics is a full time job and we are lucky to be supported by the national Lottery And Anyone who plays in order to do this is our dayjobs, and we are so incredibly lucky because of that and we have to put in 25 to 30 hours of training a week. And were lucky as the paralympic group in rowing that we fully involved with that. We also train with the olympic programme in a Training Centre in reading and thats incredible for us to have that level of integration with the paralympic programme and they will have continued coverage of the Closing Ceremony on Bbc News. And theres plenty more on the Bbc News and Sport Website. Hello there. So far september has been quite warm and humid with some thundery downpours and some pleasant spells of sunshine. This upcoming week will be a shock to the system, the first real taste of autumn, turning much cooler for all of us, with sunshine and showers, Windy At Times and nights a lot colder. But temperatures will begin recover again as we head into the following weekend. This weekend has been dominated by this thundery low with high humidity, some Heavy Rain and storms. This will slowly ease as it pushes eastwards during the overnight Period Tonight and leaves a legacy of cloud and spots of rain for england and wales. But scotland, Northern Ireland, already signs of Something Cooler and fresher moving in, with clearer skies, so single digits here. But double figures for england and wales. As we head into monday day, we see the Back Edge of that low pressure pull away in towards the near continent. It will bring further cloud, a few spots of rain during Monday Morning but then Skies Brighten up into the afternoon as it slides off into the near continent. Scotland and Northern Ireland sees the next Weather Front moving in, so thicker cloud, some spots of rain later in the day, but further south it should be dry with some sunshine. But already feeling cooler and fresher, 13 to 17 degrees from north to south. Monday night into first thing tuesday, low pressure starts to set into the north of the country, bringing wet and windy weather and some colder air begins to dig in behind it. Further south, still double figures to start tuesday so anotherfairly mild night to come. But it will change from tuesday onwards, behind the cold front, Arctic Air Sinking Southwards as we go through the day and it will be a strong north, North Westerly wind. Unsettled picture for tuesday, this band of rain associated with the cold front, some squally rain as it spreads southwards. Behind it, Skies Brighten up but itll be one of sunshine and blustery showers, these heavy across the North West and very windy for all of us, particularly across the North East of scotland. Factor in these sorts of Wind Speeds with these temperatures, lows teens in the north, to around the mid to high teens in the south. It will feel noticeably chilly. It stays chilly throughout the week, temperatures below par for this time of year. Most of the showers in the north. Driest in the South And East but as we head into the following weekend, we start to see temperatures recover back closer to the seasonal norm. The occupied West Bank. The uk Prime Minister used his interview with the bbc earlier today, to suggest that the nhs is broken ahead of a report on the state of the Health Service in england due later this week. In particular its expected to highlight severe problems for children and young people getting access to care. 0ur health editor, hugh pym, reports. Within hours of forming the new government, ministers were saying the nhs was broken and the problems could not be fixed overnight. The medical Expert Lord Darzi was asked to carry out a rapid review of the state of the nhs in england. His full report is due out later in the week, but now the first findings have been released, including that more than 100,000 infants have waited more than six hours in A E Departments Last year, 800,000 children and young people are on Waiting Lists for hospital treatment, with 175,000 waiting 6 12 months, and 160,000 waiting more than a year for mental health support. Lord darzi says there was a relatively bigger reduction in routine nhs operations in the pandemic than in other health systems. The Prime Minister put the blame on the conservative government. Hes been really clear that the nhs is broken but not beaten, and the reason he identifies is because of the money taken out of the nhs, particularly in the early years of the coalition, 2010 onwards. The lansley reforms, which were hopelessly misconceived, took a lot of money and had to be then reversed. And then of Course Covid on top of all that, which has put us in this awful position for the nhs. The conservatives denied they had broken the nhs. So we know the pressures, the fact were all living longer, is placing on the nhs. We know the fact were living with more multiple long term conditions that require care. Labour promised in its first year to deliver 40,000 more operations and appointments each week, but the nhs confederation, in representing employers, says a lot more will be needed to hit the 18 Week Target for people to be seen or start treatment. Our analysis shows that the combination of the size of waiting list, 7. 5 million people, and the growth in demand means that what the Secretary Of State has announced will only go a very small way to meeting his target. The Labour Government is facing the same underlying pressures on the nhs as the conservatives did. The question is, can they fix the problems and deliver change . Hugh pym, Bbc News. The first details from that new report on the nhs, led by former Labour Minister Lord darzi, have shown that Childrens Health is in crisis. He says children are being let down in several ways, including a shortage of some medicines to treat adhd Thats Attention Deficit hyperactivity disorder. Young people who have the condition say they Cant Concentrate at school and feel as if theyre being set up to fail, as Ben Moore reports. New term, new challenges. But one thing wont change in Sixth Form for 16 year old alice her Adhd Medication is still in short supply. It gave me the ability to actually concentrate. Like, if i hadnt had the medication, i wouldnt have been able to sit down and study, and i also wouldnt have been able to sit down and focus in my exams. Alice relied on her medication to get through her Gcse Revision and exams, and is pretty chuffed with her results. I got higher than my predictions. What sort of grades did you get . I got seven 8s and 9s, and one 6, so. But theres still a uk wide shortage of some Adhd Medications, so while alice hits the books, her mum hits the streets to find a pharmacy that actually has stock. It has got worse rather than better. Last month, our normal Pharmacist Couldnt fulfil her prescription we had at all. So we were unable to get anything. We have just found some from a different pharmacist which was really lucky. You feel lucky. This is a brand i have never tried before and currently im going to have to mix these two to make the dose i need to get. And ideally i dont want to be starting a new School Year with meds ive never tried before. Alice is starting her A Levels making the best of what the family can get hold of. I could be getting a headache as a side effect. I could be feeling sick and that is all because im changing medication, which youre just not meant to do, but i have to do it to prepare for Sixth Form and the next few months of my life to make sure i have enough. In the uk, Adhd Medication can only be prescribed by a psychiatrist or a specially registered medic. Your gp cannot prescribe it, which means it is a lot more difficult to change Medication Brands or doses. And you can only get one Months Supply at a time as well, which means you cant stockpile it. These, the pharmacist has just said you cant get. And then it says maybe they are not back, Som Eof them, are not back, some of them, until january, apparently. Those who have been watching the adhd Meds Crisis unfold say the new government needs to act. Kids with these medication issues are being set up to fail. If it was glasses, lets say you couldnt get your prescription, you wouldnt blink to go, right, we understand why you are struggling, 0k. Your prescription is not in, lets get one, maybe its a slight difference, not perfect, but it will get you through. And we cant do that. You cant go and get the alternative medication for adhd, so people unable to focus, unable to learn that way, are just being set up to fail right now. The Department Of Health and social care told us recent supply issues with most adhd medicines have now been resolved. Alices mind is now on sorting out those last minute bits of kit she hasnt seen since before summer, but looking at the long term, she has a message for the government. I dont take economics but sorting out Medication Shortages will allow people to work harder and work better and concentrate more to improve maybe the economy. Ben moore, Bbc News. Now here in england and wales, the Prison Population has reached a Record High. Recent figures show there are now more than 88,000 people injail. It comes as the Uk Government is set to issue Emergency Measures to relieve overcrowding. Around 3,000 prisoners will be released early from jail. The policy will not apply to those convicted of sex offences, terrorism, domestic abuse and some violent offences. Lets speak to Ian Lawrence in brighton. The first thing is, how is that prisoner who is being released early got somewhere to live . Is where they are living a Safe Space . Is it with their family . Is they are living a Safe Space . Is it with theirfamily . Is it a place where if needs be we can know where that person is with a reasonable degree of certainty . 0r with a reasonable degree of certainty . Or is it that they are living on a Sofa Somewhere with a friend they might know outside prison, or people they have met in prison. That makes life much harder to supervise and monitor the individual. The danger is they could, if circumstances dont go their way, recalled in pretty short order to prison. Way, recalled in pretty short order to prison. Thats really interesting. Order to prison. Thats really interesting, and order to prison. Thats really interesting, and a order to prison. Thats really interesting, and a really order to prison. Thats reallyl interesting, and a really good point, isnt it, its about the after care and the Community Care beyond the fact that there is an early release system. Yes. So you will know as well as anybody about the crisis in mental Health Services, for example. In Accommodation Agencies and local authorities, there is pressure all around. Drug, alcohol, Substance Misuse agencies for example, that particular client might need the support of those people to prevent them from recidivism. It is a worry, it is a concern that our Probation Members have to think about whilst processing the application. But overall do you think this is a good idea, what will be happening this week . Well, it is better than happening this week . Well, it is better than what happening this week . Well, it is better than what was happening this week . Well, it is better than what was there | is better than what was there before but i have to say it has become fashionable to blacken the last government, but the last government could have enacted this legislation that will come into force On Tuesday at The End of their tenure. They chose not to because they believed it would be politically unpopular. So we didnt have this scheme up and running weeks, months ago, that would have given our practitioners more time to assess the individuals we are talking about. So the idea is that yes in theory it should provide more time for analysis, checks and balances etc, but we are not totally confident about that and the figures suggest something like 1700, 1900 people being released next week. The wider figure people being released next week. The widerfigure is people being released next week. The wider figure is yet to be known, so its a lot of pressure on the Probation Service so we need to the government to act quickly to provide a Rescue Package for probation, which as yet has not been forthcoming. Been forthcoming. Really important been forthcoming. Really important work been forthcoming. Really important work that been forthcoming. Really important work that you | been forthcoming. Really i important work that you and your colleagues do, Ian Lawrence, the General Secretary of the national association of probation officers, thank you for sharing your thoughts. Sudan has rejected a proposal by a united Nations Team that peacekeepers should be deployed to the country immediately to protect civilians. A un mission said it had uncovered evidence of atrocities which it said may amount to war crimes. But sudans Foreign Ministry dismissed the recommendation, calling the Un Mission Political and illegal. More than 10 Million people have fled their homes since Civil War broke out in april last year between Sudans Army and the paramilitary rapid support forces. Earlier, i spoke to the un population funds regional Director Laila Baker in port sudan. For unfpa, ourjob is twofold. One, to ensure that where we have internally displaced people and those in need, particularly girls and women, to ensure that we support all of our partners who can provide those vital services getting the care that women need to have a baby, making for sure that if you are exposed to sexual violence that you are not judged, that you can get the counselling and medical care that you need. These are the things that we will focus on and we hope that all the partners we work with can build a new sudan where the future brings a little bit more hope. In the meantime we need to focus on those who are most in need right now, and that is half of sudans population, whether Thats Access to food and clean Water Or Shelter or protection from all of the Climate Change elements like floods that we have been seeing, as well as access to services or Health Care and protection from gender based violence. King charles has attended a service at Crathie Kirk near balmoral on the second anniversary of the death of his mother, queen elizabeth. The late queen was a regular worshipper at the church. Britains Jack Draper has been reflecting on his gruelling match in the Us Open semifinals. He lost in straight sets to the World Number one, italys yannick sinner. The match the biggest of his career took its toll on him, and he ended up vomiting On Court. Hes been talking to our Sports News Correspondent laura scott. Its been a big breakthrough in the Big Apple forJack Draper. Having had some time to reflect after his semifinal defeat. Yeah, ive had a bit of time to rest. He told me he woke up determined to push himself further. I wanted to give more, but it was tough in that situation last night. But overall from the last two weeks, ive taken a lot of learnings and confidence. It seems like Mount Everest to climb when you are going through all the lower levels and travelling, all this type of stuff. When i got injured last yearfor a while i took a look at myself and, began to just really lock in on everything i needed to do, whether off court, On Court and since then my consistency s been great. Having the injuries i had, and having the time i had away from the court really helped me to gain perspective and realise that if i put the work in and work hard, good things can happen quickly. Its been a good example that hard work does play off. Facing the World Number one, italys jannik sinner, in the most important match of his life, draper found it hard to keep things calm and keep things down, vomiting three times. How keen are you to focus on addressing that . Im definitely going to go home, this has happened a few times now in different situations for me. Im going to really look into it. I push my body to the limit all the time in training and in my mindset. I dont have to worry about not doing enough because i am. Which points to the fact a lot of the issues i have are mental. I have to work on that and understand it and make and understand myself better in order to compete at these highest levels. This season has bought his first Atp Tour Title a victory over wimbledon to champion carlos alcaraz, the british Number One mantle and now this run in New York which will see him climb into the worlds top 20. His progress has led to many comparisons with his idol, andy murray. Theres obviously a lot of narrative around me being the next andy murray, the next whatever, i just want to be Jack Draper, i want to achieve what i can achieve in the game. My Number One goal is to reach my potential as a player whatever that looks like. After a fortnight that has both energised and exhausted him, draperflies home now believing his career is only just taking off. Laura scott, Bbc News, New York. Many of us will have learned about castles while we were at school but 60 children in devon can go one better than that. Theyre currently having all their lessons in a castle. Kenton primary school is closed for repairs so the Earl Of Devon has opened up Powderham Castle for them to use this term. Janine jansens been to see how theyre getting on. Powderham castle a stunning Setting Fit for an earl. But never in their Wildest Dreams did the children from kenton think this would be their new school. I thought the teachers were joking. They couldnt wait to enter, with fantasies of Harry Potter and the Hogwarts School of witchcraft and wizardry. I love it, i love really old furniture. It really brings it into character. I like that weve moved to a castle. Its really exciting. This time last year, flooding hit kenton, and their beloved school was a complete mud bath. To see what were left with is heartbreaking, absolutely heartbreaking. First, they shared with their neighbouring school at ken. Then they moved into this church in dawlish. The children really have been on quite a journey. I really miss kenton school, but i love being on the move, sort of. The Earl Of Devon is fantastic. Hes been so supportive of kenton primary school. He really is such a lovely chap. It really feels quite surreal to come to school, down the drive, up through past the deer park, into the castle. It really has been an amazing experience so far. Everywhere you look, there are castles and turrets. The best thing is probably the playground. We can play Football And Slide tackle without hurting ourselves on the tarmac. We also see Deer Day to day. And ive seen three buzzards flying around. Today we saw some geese. Going back in time is clearly a novelty. Just love being in the victorian classroom. Theres lots of old tables, which its really cool cos which is really cool cos youve got a Section Underneath to put all your stationery. Well, theyre really weird cosj some stuff slips off and falls yeah, and the seats are really uncomfortable yeah theyve just found out theyve got funding to build a brand new school in the village. But the question is after the magic of Powderham Castle, will they ever want to leave . Janine jansen, Bbc News. 0asis are working hard to convince their fans to not Look Back In Anger after the disappointment caused by dynamic Ticket Pricing for their Reunion Tour last weekend.
