Beckett Street Leeds: Man dead after collision with minibus driver near St James' Hospital

The minibus driver, a 49-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by driving while unlicensed or uninsured.
He remains in custody.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "Police are appealing for any witnesses to the collision or anyone who saw the minibus or the male pedestrian in the time leading up the incident, particularly anyone with relevant dashcam footage.
"A police vehicle had stopped at the scene immediately prior to the collision occurring, and a referral has been made to the Independent Office for Police Conduct due to the involvement of officers.
