Beekeeping class for beginners scheduled

CELINA — A beginning beekeeping class will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 13 at the Richardson-Bretz Building, 119 W. Fulton St., Celina.
The class, presented by the Greater Grand Lake Beekeepers Association, will cover everything a beginner needs to know about keeping bees at home.
Cost is $50 in advance or $60 walk-in. A second person add-on registration is available at a discount. The book “Honeybee Biology and Beekeeping” is included. Those registered will also receive a one-year membership in the group.
