Sabrina Wright of Sun Valley Elementary is a finalist for Alabama Teacher of the Year.
MONTGOMERY, AL — The Alabama State Department of Education has narrowed down its list of potential Teacher of the Year winners to 16 finalists, one of whom is a Birmingham City Schools teacher.
Sabrina Wright of Sun Valley Elementary School made the list of finalists announced Wednesday. The list will be narrowed down to four finalists before the announcement of the winner in August.
Wright received my bachelor's degree from the University of Mobile and later a master's degree from Troy University in Montgomery.
