March 11, 2021LACONIA — The two teams that call the Merrill Fay Arena home took to the arena's ice on Wednesday, March 3, for the opening round of the Division III tournament.
While the Laconia-Winnisquam-Inter-Lakes Lakers, playing without two of their top players, got off to a hot start, it was the Belmont-Gilford Bulldogs who finished strong, rallying from a 3-1 first period deficit to pull off a 4-3 win to advance to the quarterfinal round.
