Cable's secretive 'NRoC' project explores way to run 5G on HFC

Charter, Rogers and CableLabs are studying how to deliver 5G signals on HFC networks via a project called Next-Gen Radio over Coax, or 'NRoC.' It could boost network capacity and drive cable's fixed/mobile convergence strategies.
