All about the ATP 250 event in Parma, Italy
Lorenzo Sonego won Italian hearts in Rome with his breakthrough run to the Internazionali BNL d'Italia semi-finals. In Cagliari, he became the first Italian in 15 years to capture an ATP Tour title on home soil. Now the Turin native is ready to keep the momentum going as he leads the field at the Emilia-Romagna Open, an ATP 250 event in Parma.
Sonego, who achieved a career-high No. 28 in the FedEx ATP Rankings earlier this year, is one of three Italian players including Stefano Travaglia and Salvatore Caruso flying the flag at the ATP Tour’s first event in Parma. Benoit Paire, Albert Ramos-Vinolas and Jan-Lennard Struff are also set to hit the court.
