BARNSTABLE – In searching for its new executive director, the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors sought someone with a working knowledge of the region's communities and businesses.
They found their man in Paul Niedzwiecki.
Niedzwiecki, a longtime public policy professional and lawyer with two decades of public administration experience on the Cape, will succeed Wendy Northcross, who retires as the chamber's executive director on June 30.
Niedzwiecki is no stranger to the issues facing Cape Cod. From 2007 to 2018, he was the executive director of the Cape Cod Commission. He left that post to serve as executive director and general counsel for the Southfield Redevelopment Authority in Weymouth, and in May 2019 was hired as vice president of strategy and government affairs for Cape Cod Healthcare.
