A Malmesbury inventor has brought joy to care home residents and staff with his latest piece of art.
Tom Lawton, founder of Uplifting Products, attended an emotional virtual event at Hyperion House Care Home in Fairford as they unveiled his artwork Blueprint of a Rainbow.
The inventor had decided before Christmas to donate one of his limited edition rainbow prints to brighten up key worker spaces in or close to his community. Several venues were nominated by members of the public, and one was Hyperion House Care Home.
He said: “I believe passionately in giving back and I wanted to support key workers. I put out a request for nominations and Hyperion House Care Home stood out for me. I felt that it would bring joy to those working hard to keep us safe and the residents.
