Catch the sky's smiley face, vernal equinox
Pam Eastlick
Greetings everyone. We still have that conjunction of three planets in the early morning sky and I hope you can go out Thursday because for the first time in a very long time, we actually have a smiley face.
A smiley face happens when a crescent moon is close to two planets or sometimes a planet and a bright star. This time it’s Mercury and Jupiter as the eyes and the face is a little lopsided, but go out before sunrise Thursday and see if you can spot the smiley face in the eastern sky.
