cauvery water management authority: SC to constitute bench to hear Cauvery river water sharing dispute

The Indian Supreme Court will form a bench to hear the dispute between Tamil Nadu and Karnataka over sharing Cauvery river water. Tamil Nadu has filed an application with the court requesting the release of water for the month of August as ordered by the Cauvery Water Management Authority (CWMA).
