The Crown Commercial Service (CCS) has launched a new Digital Capability for Health procurement framework.
It said it is designed to help public health and social care organisations in developing digital solutions such as electronic referral services, care records and screening services.
The framework was developed with NHS Digital and other organisations, and includes 12 suppliers, four of which are SMEs, with relevant technical capabilities and experience in the health sector.
While being made up a single lot, the agreement provides services in five areas: DevOps; digital definition; build and transition; end-to-end development; and data management and similar services.
CCS said users will be able to combine appropriate service areas with the phases for an agile project outlined by the Government Digital Service.
