Oskaloosa, IA- Authorities have announced the arrest of a Chicago man following a stabbing at William Penn University in Oskaloosa. According to a news release, on Monday, at about 12:34 AM, Oskaloosa Police Officers were dispatched to Eltse Hall at William Penn University, in reference to a reported stabbing. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim with a stab wound to the upper chest/lower neck. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment and is expected to recover. An investigation revealed that an argument led to a physical altercation outside a dorm, leading to the stabbing. The suspect, 22-year-old Zyrick Knight of Chicago, was still on the scene when officers arrived and was arrested without incident. Knight was charged with Attempted Murder and was housed in the Mahaska County Jail.
