Viewers in the United States and Around The World. Im john fox at the cnn center in atlanta where just about what i am. U. S. President joe biden is on his way to israel. A high stakes visit which is being made even more complicated as seeds of chaos and devastation unfold in the aftermath of the explosion at the hospital in gaza. And a warning the images that you are about to see, are hard to watch. According to palestinian officials, hundreds of people at the hospital where killed by it israeli airstrike. The e Israel Defense force denies that. Insisting the explosion was caused by a rocket, that was misfired, by that militant group, Islamic Jihad. Sources call cnn that the u. S. Ally intelligence is provided by the israelis. [inaudible] according to the World Health Organization, the hospital is treating not only the wounded palestinian, but also sheltered thousands of people forced to left their homes. Global condemnation has been swift. The u. N. Chief calls that horrific, and unacceptable. President biden says that it is unacceptable. And here is the united nations. We condemn this action in the strongest possible terms and we hold israel responsible for this massacre, this crime. Protests have erupted in the west bank and across the middle east. Demonstrators marched through the streets of the u. S. Embassy in lebanon. Hundreds in baghdad chanted anti as raley chance as they kept them away from the green zone. And outside the embassies of his run and tehran. He said he was not the cause of the Hospital Blast. We spoke with Israel Defense spokesperson and asked him why is it taking so long . It is a complex environment and we took our time to go through our own information system. And then verify what the enemy had done, put the pieces together, get it approved by the senior levels in the idf and presented to the world, we just released a few moments ago the information, the first packet of information. Which is aerial footage showing the scene of the hospital from above, and evidence that clearly supports the fact that it could not have been an israeli bomb, because they was no collateral or significant damage to the buildings around it, no creator and nothing that is similar to other locations where israeli bombs had struck. Once you get the material, youll be able to see it and youll be able to have Software Analysts having a look at it, but the bottom line is that we stand by the information that we released, this was a miss fired rockets by the Islamic Jihad, not an israeli strike. Regardless of the evidence you put out there, those who will believe, it will believe you. Those who dont, will not. It will not have a great changed opinion in the west bank, and not likely to have a large opinion and gaza where its responsible. Im not sure that they are the target audience, the important thing here is i think for the majority of the world to know and understand that we a, do not target any sensitive facility. Definitely not hospitals. And if something happens by mistake, then we own up to the mistake. Live now to london, where elie gotkine is standing by with more on this. All this outstanding evidence that biden plans on releasing in the coming hours as the United States, and other leaders in western countries support israel right now. Regardless of whether or not they can prove they didnt do it, or what they believe, this will have an impact on what, will this have an impact rather, on how israel conducts its war moving forward . It could be john. And just to say, in the last ten minutes or so. The idf has released its first packet of what it says is proof that it did not bomb the hospital in the gaza strip last night. That has resulted in possibly hundreds of people of being killed it. Shows footage from a drone, the before and after and also examples of previous Collateral Damage that has been the result of aerial bombardment from israelis in the path to show that this time around was not from israeli bombs. So that first piece of information is out already, to answer your question john, as you say, israel, weve been expecting now for several days now, as expected to launch a kind of Ground Incursion of some sort. That may now be complicated, not just by the visit of President Biden but by writing number of casualties, civilian casualties that were seeing in the gaza strip. Whether or not they were a result of the example of israeli airstrikes. So, it could complicate matters there. It could complicate matters into the north as well. Because irans proxy of hezbollah in Southern London has already been scrimmage is. Rockets fired, Anti Tank Missiles fired to israel. Israel retaliating. This could be used as a pretext by hezbollah to really open up that northern front. And that could complicate matters for israel in the gaza strip as well. Also, diplomatically, it is complicated with masses potentially. Because weve seen condemnations from egypt, for example, in jordan. Both have Peace Treaties with israel, condemning israel, blaming israel for the strike on this, blast at this hospital. Also i was in the united arab emirates, blaming israel for this. And the saudis, with whom israel was hoping to normalize relations, also condemning israel. So diplomatically, that picture can also be complicated. But ultimately, israels seemingly steadfast in its plan, which is to try to destroy hamas and its capabilities of ever launching a Terrorist Attack of the kind that it launched on october the 17th. John . L. A. , live for us with the latest. We appreciate it. Joining us now from watching, cnn senior fellow at the middle east institute. Thank you for being with us. Thank you for having me. So, hamas, along with other palestinian Officials Say israel is clear the blame for the strike on the hospital, not so says the idf, listen to this. Intelligence from few sources that we have in our hands, indicates that the Islamic Jihad is responsible for the famed Rocket Launch which heads to the hospital in gaza. Its important to find out who did this, whether it was an israeli strike, or misfired Islamic Jihad missile, at this point there is no outdoing the outrage and the anger. Which has already been caused among palestinians, and many nations. Who had no doubt that israel is to blame. Rather intentionally, or by misadventure. Now thats out there. This will have long term repercussions . This is a Turning Point i think in the war. Of course you can never say with absolute certainty, about the stage but the evidence seems pretty, i think, compelling that this was an israeli airstrike. The israelis have said that they would be targeted hospitals, and ordered them to be evacuated. Which is something palestinian medical personnel have resisted. But more importantly, the Islamic Jihad or hamas or any other palestinian group, its highly unrealistic that they would have access to such as sophisticated missile that would be capable of killing 600 people instantly. But as you said, whether this was a deliberate attack by Israeli Forces on, clearly, as civilian targets. Or its simply Reckless Disregard for civilian life, the repercussions i think are very severe. The u. S. President , joe biden, will visit israel in the coming hours. Before the strike on the Gaza Hospital, john kirby outlined what the president was hoping to achieve. Here he is. The president believes that this is exactly the right time to go to israel. And to go to jordan. To speak to other leaders in the region, about the humanitarian assistance. That we want to make sure gets into gaza. About israeli plans and intentions going forward. How its unfolding on the ground. And absolutely, to continue to talk to regional partners about those hostages. And getting them home. Back to the families where they belong. That trip to jordan is now on hold. The president of the palestinian authority, Mahmoud Abbas, who condemned hamas to the attack 11 days ago. Will now meet with biden. Israel is looking has slated to the very least. Im not sure looking at it through a steady pr lance is the right approach. I think those of us in the Analyst Community have expected to see a gradual ratcheting up at the scale of violence by the Israeli Military in the absence of any statements or red lines or urging, or restraint. By western powers. Including and especially the United States. So i see this as the natural outcome of what has been essentially american and european flight check for israel to do essentially what everyone wanted militarily. I notice through the lens of pr seems cold and trivial through some aspects. But this is a war of pr. Of winning support from Around The World. And quite often, israel has received a lot of condemnation when civilian death toll continues to rises as it is now. And those weighing in by washington. So now its possible, its too early to tell. The response is so far from the biden administration, has been lets wait and see. We are horrified at what we call, an explosion. And lets see who is determined to be responsible. And we will look into this. But, i dont anticipate that we will see any real change in the almost unanimous voice coming from congress of support. Unconditional support for israel. Regardless of any fact finding, or investigation that might happen. Countries Around The World have condemned the explosion at the hospital. Along with canada, egypt, and qatar. With provincial lines reporting that the blast also drew condemnation from other countries including turkey, israel, and they said what was pinned on israel was a massacre and for a war crime. Assuming this continues as is, i guess, how much harder will it be now for the u. S. President in a Secretary Of State to prevent the conflict from escalating into a much wider, regional confrontation . And what with that escalation look like . Yeah, i think this is where the river meets the road so to speak. I think there is real risk of escalation, because there is such outrage in the arab world. And we have already seen a spike in the rhetoric coming out of hezbollah, and its allies in the region. So i think that risk is much greater now you. Would not be surprised to see a retaliatory strike by hezbollah for example, that escalates things. And could spiral out of control. And obviously that is a concern for the United States. Thats been the priority so far. To try to contain this war, to just gaza. And to keep it from spreading but it definitely becomes harder now. From the middle east institute, thank you for being with us, and for your insight. Thank you. Israeli airstrikes also pattern other parts on tuesday. The Palestinian Interior Ministry says at least 49 people were killed, dozens more injured. Strikes on refining, the border with eunice. Abdullahs cell aziz has more. And a warning. The report is graphic. There should be a way out of the war zone. But it too is cost in the crosshairs of the weapons. You are looking at the aftermath of airstrikes on rafa, thousands have blocked here in recent days seeking safe passage, only to find more death. My children, oh god, please find my children. Cairo is reluctant to take in refugees. It says it wants to see aid arrive in the enclave. Israels government has imposed a complete siege of gaza. After hamas Terror Attacks killed some 1400 people. It says it aims to wipe out hamas. We continue to operate and strike hamas targets as we have defined beforehand. We are trying to do that according to the law of armed conflict, to minimize civilian casualties. Intensive efforts by the u. S. And the u. N. Have yet to resolve the logjam. Leaving countless people like this michigan resident stuck. With the war, i cant see another bomb. These people here, these people here nate. Its not right. On the egyptian side of the border, lifesaving aid is piling up. With more than 10,000 wounded palestinians, and the Health Care System on the brink. Every hour counts. Thats why its critical to get their. This is for people like crisis when and. We know that there is this aid for pregnant women. And many of them are delivering every day. They babies dont care about bombs. They come when they come. Gaza isnt a stranglehold group say, under siege and under attack, with innocent still billions desperate to escape a growing health cape. Salma abdelazziz, cnn, london. We will take a short break, when we come back the idf and hezbollah in the north continue to Exchange Fire in the border with lebanon. Plus, Exchange Fire in the possibility of conflicts dreaming across and gaza, [inaudible] and what to know about it, those details. Next welcome back. To the north of israel the idf continues to Exchange Fire with hezbollah militant just across the board in lebanon. Raising concerns of a possible second front for israel, which could also create confrontations across the region. More now from cnns matthew chance. [sound of artillery] this is the mayhem on israels northern border, not yet of full scale war with hezbollah in lebanon, but its on the brink. So far, exchanges have been limited. Hezbollah firing several antitank missiles like this one. Across the valley towards israeli positions. Israeli officials focused on destroying hamas, in the south. Says they will also target hezbollah if they iranian backed mission further interludes. Translator we will make sure we win every confrontation. Israels top Military Commander tells troops on a visiting mission. Hezbollah makes this mistake a strikes, he says, they will be destroyed. The Israeli Military says it has already killed four people. Trying to infiltrate its northern border from lebanon, to plant explosives. With those israeli officials, key to avoid the second front. Saying the points of escalation has not yet been reached. Veteran, which supports hezbollah says it wont stand by forever, as israel pounds the gaza strip. Were not looking for an expansion of the war, says the Iranian Foreign minister. But you can tell hezbollah to show restraint. While allowing israel to commit whether crime he would like against civilians. It is hardly an assurance, and Israeli Forces are evacuating Border Villages and full story northern defences. Thats technology that faced a powerful threat from a lebanese militia with a vast arsenal of missiles. Ready to fight if necessary, they say. On two fronts. Matthew chance, cnn, northern israel. Long before the surprise amounted attack on israel a couple of days ago, the idf was hunting for the leader of hamas in gaza. Announcing the hunt with extra urgency. Cnns sam kiley has our report. Israel wants this man dead. The leader of hamas in gaza. In the face of diesel, at the end, that man is in our sights and. We will get him. He was first convicted in 1988 for the murder of two Israeli Soldiers and palestinians suspected of collaboration with israel. And he spent two decades in an israeli prison. Studying. The leader of the hamas enter security for, as he hunted alleged collaborators with seal. And was among the movements 1000 palestinian Prisoners Released in 2011, and israeli soldier held hostage in gaza for five years. He said, there is no doubt that this is a nationalistic moment. It is one of the big, strategic monuments in the history of our cause. He quickly became head of hamas military wing. And an election to the gaza leadership in 2017, effectively abolished its civilian branch. Ostracized by Egypt Over Support for political islam, he repaired friendships with cairo. And build regional relationships that entrenched hamas power. It really needed to also have good relations with the key arab state that also shared the border with the gaza strip. And with iran. That could supply hamas with military and logistical support. Iran has poured Military Support into hamas under him. And qatar has been a major backer of civilian projects. He was soon in israels crosshairs quite literally. The idea of trying to kill him in may, 2021. Ten days later, he laid out his strategy. He said, if the world does not take action to stop it from hitting israel there. Will be a religious war in the region. And he soon appeared in gaza alongside egypts intelligence chief, abbess comal. The u. S. Is now relying in egypt and qatar, as the key players in trying to secure the safe relief of hamass 200 captives. The main point of contact is likely yahya sinwar. Unless israel fills the promised to kill them. Sam kiley, cnn. Protests over the Deadly Strike on a Gaza Hospital is erupting across the region. In a moment, a first look at the appearing of anger. And what arab governments are saying. [crowd chanting] youre probably not easily persuaded to switch mobile providers for your business. The latest now from gaza. A deadly blast at a hospital, which has managed to kill thousands of palestinians. A warning to our viewers, the images youre about to see a hard to watch. [inaudible] medicare, seem to be working to help the wounded. According to the Palestinian Health ministry, the hospital is only treating patients, but also a shelter. Thousands of palestinians have been forced from their homes. Who is the blame for the explosion remains and care. Planning an official says the hospital saw the airstrike. But Israel Defense forces deny any involvement, its blaming Islamic Jihad. We report. In the whole gaza strip, there is no place it is safe. There is no place safe. We hear the bombs. We see them. We feel the pressure after the bombs goes down. U. S. President joe biden is now on its way to israel for a high stakes visit. In a statement he said he is outraged and deeply saddened by the Hospital Blast and gaza. He was continuing to get the information on exactly what happened. In the meantime, several harrop countries have condemned israel for the blast. Thousands of protesters across the region, have been chanting as lay israeli slogans. Cnn reports. And the onset of this war, we have seen protests take insularity with the Palestinian People. Across the globe, not just in the middle east. But here, in this region, we saw Last Night A Real Outpouring Of Outrage and condemnation following that attack on the hospital in side of the gaza strip. So far, hamas says at least 500 people were killed in that attack. They have pointed the finger of responsibility at israel. Although the Israeli Government has denied, categorically denied any involvement in this attack and has placed responsibility on the Islamic Jihad group inside of gaza. But of course, there is a real focus on the civilian toll, and the impact that this has had, hundreds of lives lost, killed in this devastating, horrifying attack and weve seen the videos of those terrible images of them lined up outside of the hospital. That is really what sparked the protest we saw. Here, huge Crowds Gathering in the city, around the israeli embassy. Some protesters even attempting to storm the embassy at one point. Its important to know that we have seen protests in support of the palestinian cause. Taking place almost on a daily basis here in jordan. We also saw demonstrations in lebanon, in tunisia, in iran, in the occupied west bank. There were even some clashes from protesters and Israeli Security forces. And this isnt going to end here. We continue to see these airstrikes on gaza, by the idf, and continue to see the civilian death toll mounting. In besieged gaza zone, which is of course under complete siege. No food, no water, no electricity, no fuel is getting in. That solidarity with the Palestinian People is only going to go. And i cannot overstate the prevalence and the significance that the palestinian cause holds in these arab nations. This long held with case of prevalence. For many, certainly for these protesters taking to the streets. Now the question is whether or not this translates to popular opinion to policy. Weve already seen, the summit which is expected to take place today this week. President jordan, of, egypt and president Mahmoud Abbas from the palestinian authority. As well of course, u. S. President joe biden. That summit has now been canceled. The Jordanian Foreign minister condemning yesterdays attack. But of course, we will see what further action is taken by the arab nations. Nada bashir, cnn, in a man. Live is cnn columnist and former editor for the jerusalem post. Good to see you. Thank you john. Even what the jury still out, israel has been widely condemned and blamed for the explosion at the hospital in gaza. Even by arab countries, with new relations. Does that concern the Israeli Government here . Are they only concerned by what the u. S. Actually believes . At the end of the day. You said it correctly. Israel needs the u. S. For a number of reasons. If the diplomatic support, what happens around the u. N. Security council table, but also lets not forget israels military is heavily reliant on american based military platforms. F15s, f16s, of 30 fives, Apache Helicopters and more. If america for example were to get really upset with israel and decide to shut off the flow of spare parts, or more ammunitions to israel. The idf would be in trouble. So you know, they need to keep up that support in the u. S. , but what were facing here is a huge challenge. On the one hand, israel is saying and providing evidence that it was not us. Israel did not bomb that hospital. It was a failed Islamic Jihad rocket. And while that might be true, and i to rely and believe much more the idf and a terrorist organization. Those are the details for the world. This is a tragedy, and humanitarian disaster, and that is going to shift Public Opinion and maybe change the pressure already under to get this conflict over with. With that in mind, whether or not the anger, the protests, the outrage are all justified, whether it was israel or Islamic Jihad. The reality is an extraordinary amount of palestinians and israeli ends are being killed. And he has there been killed, but theyre dying by israeli airstrikes. And that has led to some kind of ceasefire. The International Pressure has drawn, the u. S. Has stepped in. Is that where were heading . Because it doesnt seem that way. Israel has said that they are going into the gaza strip they. Have amassed a huge number of forces along the border. And they have been training over the last weekend, preparing for this large scale Ground Offensive that everyone has been waiting to see happen, and was expected to happen a few days ago, and President Biden announced that he is coming to the region, it became obvious that israel is not going in at least until he leaves, he is arriving in just a couple of hours to tel aviv, so could happen a night . Cahaba mauro . I think what well find out is after this meeting today and bi, what exactly the room of maneuverability that america has given israel, i think the idf said very clearly he stands with israel but israels gonna have an window, how big that window is, is it a week . Is it two weeks . Israel does need to go into the great capabilities, the idf is pushing very hard for that. And it needs to go into pushback hamas. Lets not forget who is responsible for all of this. Israel does all they can to minimize civilian casualties and like you said john. They want the civilians to die so they will have pressure on israel. Thats part of this whole conflict right now. Its not the first time this hospital in gaza has been hit by israeli airstrikes. Of course the community which owns and operates a facility. And the strike in the Arab Hospital handed at 7 48 pm in october. They were in the blast and receiving treatment for the wounds. And also heres the reaction from the World Health Organization to tuesdays explosion. It is absolutely clear to all sides of the conflict where the the facilities are. It is actually clear. Health care is not a target. It should never be a target of anyone in conflict. That is enshrines in the International Humanitarian law. And we are seeing this breached again and again and again. Over the last week. And it has to stop it. Much stop. In the past Health Facilities have been targeted in gaza because hamas uses the buildings as Control Centers which is a war crime. Or challenges the senior leadership, a war crime. Its like the only time they want to be talk about International War hood, is when its under attack. This is a huge problem with the way that hamas embeds itself into civilian infrastructure in the gaza strip. The idf goes Above And Beyond trying to hit civilians, it does not target hospitals, it does not target civilians intentionally but we know that in war there are mistakes and there are problems. And its a very challenging urban environment. With that said, the people who are responsible for what is happening right now, the civilians in gaza, in my view, is definitely how much. And definitely Islamic Jihad if its the rocket that it does hospital. But youre right, in the public reception Around The World, a vast people perceive this, and chip away at israels legitimacy to be able to operate. So that window im afraid of how much time does israel have to go in on the ground and take a degree more of hamas capabilities. That is to a slow position. Israel needs to take advantage of the opportunity now. Quickly, at the very beginning of this, it signaled a meeting by hamas and innocent women and children, cutting heads off. It was despicable, and deplorable. There was an outpouring in israel, but what always happens in these conflicts is that slowly, because of the israeli airstrikes in the devastation towards gaza. And the death of palestinians. It does change world opinion. Surely, the israeli are aware of this. There has to be a better way of taking control of hamas. Such as taking over every game and having the world not turn against you. This is one of the great challenges of these conflicts. You and i have spoken about many of them over the years. But you are right. It changes very quickly. And i can only wonder why does it always change for israel . Theres other conflicts Around The World. One was ices. When it was alqaeda. No one was asking these questions. No one was turning the table so quickly on america, or on your, of when they were fighting for their survival. But when it comes to israel for some reason, the world is quickly turns on israel and away from its legitimacy. Israel has to fight what we saw on october 7th was the attempt to annihilate us. To go into our homes and to kill our people. Israel is gonna fight for its survival, the entire region, all of our enemies are watching right now, is a reject strike. Has to handle its civilians. Has to treat this enemy, that is hamas, that is worse than i. S. I. S. Day. Stay safe, we will see you again see in. Thank you john. What that will take a short break, when we come back, two new friends, together again. Flooding are putin and xi jinping face to face at the sidelines of the global summit in beijing. But the opportunity first forced smiles. Look at these two, friends really, well talk about. It state media in China Reports president xi jinping was met with russian president Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the Global Infrastructure summit in beijing. Both leaders made public remarks during the opening banquet, the real focus is on the reaction but the two leaders whose conflicts in the middle east and ukraine. Cnn bureau chief steven jiang joins us live with the latest on all of this. What are we looking for here . What are we expecting . What do we have so far . Yeah john, i think the two strongmans Leaders Meeting should be soon, if not already. The opening remarks delivered by xi jinping in the bilateral meeting, he made a point of saying that this was their 42nd meeting since 2013, and held bilateral ties have grown so much in the past decade. Especially when it comes to bilateral trade. Soaring to new heights, trying to hit the goal of 200 billion u. S. Dollars annually. This is not surprising, especially in the past few, years as beijing has been increasingly providing moscow with an economic lifeline, because obviously russia very much under severe western sanctions. Thats also why analysts say china increasingly holds this upper hand in this relationship. So its very much a choice that they havent exerted more pressure for putin to end this bloody war in ukraine. If anything they, have become a lot more in sync. A lot more coordinated on many policy fronts. Not just economically, but also critically, monetarily, and in terms of global messaging. That includes the responses to the latest crisis in the middle east both. Sides very focused on the palestinian, as well as barely mentioning the israeli casualties. And not naming hamas in all of those statements, and condemnations. Because strategically speaking, many experts have also pointed out that this crisis is, could be beneficial to both russia and china because it could potentially divert u. S. Attention and resources away from ukraine. As well as the indopacific region where tensions have been rising between beijing and washington over taiwan and the south china sea. Thats because at the end of the day, these two men, even though putin is increasingly a pariah in the eyes of the west. He is the most prominent guest of xi jinping during beijing. They are really bonded by the sheer grievances against the u. S. And their desire to shape a New World Order without being led by the u. S. Thats why xi jinping emphasized the Keynote Speech in the Opening Ceremony of the belt and road for, him taking a swipe at the u. S. Without naming, Washington City this program is not about ideological confrontation. Now theyre about geo political bribery or socalled block politics. John . Sounds interesting, steven. Thank you. Steven jiang in beijing. Think that. Appreciate you sir. The chaos in the u. S. Congress, two weeks after republican ousted Kevin Mccarthy as speaker. The only candidate for the job is trump supporting, conservative republican, chip jordan. He is set to do the second vote in the coming hours, after losing the first vote on tuesday. Lawmakers support him. Cnns manu raju has more in his reporting now in from washington. More than two weeks now, the house has been paralyzed among gop infighting. That initially literally asked her of Kevin Mccarthy as speaker. The first time ever, voted out by his colleagues. And since then, republicans have been unable to get behind anyone to lead the house and reopen the chamber. The House Cannot Act until the speaker is elected. No legislation can move forward. Everything essentially paralyzed. Republicans have been unable to get behind a candidate. Jim jordan put his name up for the first ballot on tuesday. He lost 20 republicans, in a Party Line Vote that ultimately he could only afford to lose three republicans at that particular vote. A significant deficit Haste Networking behind the scenes to try to make up. Next vote scheduled for 11 am on wednesday. Can he close the deficit . The concern amongst jordan allies is perhaps the opposition may grow. Some republicans who were only with him on the first ballot may not be there with him on the second ballot. This all is coming as concerns are growing in the ranks. Republicans and democrats both saying this dysfunction needs to end and raising serious concern about how it could affect republicans. Its problematic, its hard to function when your dysfunctional. And we need the house to function. In this case, the disrespect for the majority isnt what problematic to me. I think a lot of people, they go, thats chaotic, i dont think it helps. What alarming to me is its such a small group, small minority of the majority that wags the dog. When the tail is wagging the dog, i think it can look a little rudderless. Things dont have to be unanimous to be united. Right now, there are neither. If jordan does look at the vote on wednesday to become elected speaker of the house, there will be questions about what will happen next. Talks will intensify about perhaps a bipartisan solution. Democrats are floating the idea of some sort of bipartisan deal, potentially even empowering patrick mchenry, who is the interim speaker of the house. He does not have legislative power, but there is a discussion about trying to give him more authority. Also, other candidates could emerge. Other republicans could put their head in the room to be the next speaker of the house. They could run into the same problem as jim jordan, unable to win over this badly divided republican conference. Many members simply are angry still about everything that transpired with Kevin Mccarthy. And made the hardliners who pushed out Kevin Mccarthy want another hot right conservative to pit in the conference. Something that didnt go over well with swing district republicans. All this raging Major Concerns about whether the house can get out of this is to a paralysis, whether it can reopen. Unclear if that could happen and when that can happen, or if this will persist in the days ahead. Manu raju, cnn, capitol hill. When we return, back to israel and the extraordinary lengths taken by one hospital to avoid being hit by incoming rocket fire. In gaza. Welcome back everyone. 52 minutes past the hour. In the past 11 days israel has been continued to hit by rockets and missiles by hamas, and other militant groups in gaza. And im going, daily threat that has forced one hospital to relocate underground. Cnn reports from tel aviv. A doctor checks in on a patient, just an ordinary day in the hospital. Except there is nothing ordinary about where this is taking place. This is the bunker, underground hospital. This is a functioning hospital in the highest level. Every service, every technology, everything that they need, we provide them. And everything has been supplied here. It has the look and the feel of a regular hospital with all of the things that you would expect, except for when you turn the corner. And you can really see this is an underground Parking Garage, at least it was. The local Parking Spaces are now four painted beds. Driveways, for push parts. This is how the Tel Aviv Medical Center is preparing to treat patients and wartime. It is as perfectly normal as usual, and the most abnormal scenario . Exactly. Yeah. This is the right place to put it. This is the result of 14 years of planning for war. We planned this underground hospital, 14 years ago morales. After the second war. Tel aviv was the first time gotten a missile attack. That was then. Before hamas storms across the border by land, air, and seen on shabbat. Killing, kidnapping, and maiming men women and children. Several floors above the hospital bunkered 60 Hospital Beds are now filled with victims from the hamas attack. I went to the party with my friends. It was a music festival.
