It's been nearly 13 years since bushwalker Warren Meyer disappeared without a trace in Victoria's Yarra Ranges National Park.
The 57-year-old father of two was an experienced hiker, and even though it was an easy 10-kilometre walk on wide open tracks, he came well prepared. He'd packed a whistle, matches, paper maps, a mobile, food and water.
Victoria was having a late warm spell that Easter Sunday in 2008; it was going to be one of those picture-perfect blue sky days with temperatures in the mid 20s.
