Couple assaulted in Shalbourne home pay tribute to mental health services

A couple who were assaulted in their home by son James Wells paid tribute to mental health services.
The 43-year-old was this week
In a trial at Bristol Crown Court labelled harrowing by the judge that presided over it, jurors heard that Wells had felt like he was in a video game, hearing voices that directed him to attack first himself then his mother Linda Holford and step-father Adrian at their home in Shalbourne, near Marlborough. A man of no previous convictions, the father-of-two had never been violent before.
