COVID numbers continue to drop in local schools
As the school year continues to wind down, so do the number of active COVID-19 cases in local schools. The latest updates from local school districts show active case counts in the single digits.
Holland Public Schools reported just four active cases in the district Friday, all students at the high school. Two of the cases are listed as “school-associated cases” on the district dashboard.
To date, HPS has had 238 student cases of COVID-19, along with 50 among staff members.
Holland Christian reported two active cases in its schools in an update Thursday, both students at the high school. There have been a total of 124 student cases of COVID-19 in Holland Christian schools this year, along with 25 staff cases.
