Work has begun on the future site of a new joint-use facility for Argyle School and Ãcole St. Pius X elementary schools in Regina.
Quorex Construction Services Ltd., under contract to build the facility, is already on-site digging out the foundation of the 11,050 square metre building â bigger than a CFL football field.
The facility has received $47 million in funding from the provincial government, which is being built at the current site of Argyle School. Upon completion, the new schools will be able to accommodate 400 students with the option to expand capacity to 500 students through the addition of relocatable classrooms.
