A RANGE of online events are available for people looking to get into volunteering in Cumbria.
The Virtual Volunteer Information Events will take place online via Zoom and are hosted by Cumbria CVS. The virtual sessions will take place between June 1 – 10.
A spokesperson for Cumbria CVS said: “This is an amazing opportunity to meet local charities, find out when and where they need volunteers, the volunteering opportunities that they have available, induction, training and support for volunteers, the benefits of volunteering and how to register and become a volunteer.”
Volunteer opportunities include Cumbria County Council’s Voluntary Social Car Scheme, North West Air Ambulance, Family Action in Barrow, and Animal Rescue Cumbria in South Lakes.
