Curious Minds program encourages girls to pursue careers in STEM

Jayde Crowe excelled academically in high school, but a career in science wasn't one she ever imagined would be possible. 
No-one in her family had ever been to university.
"I come from a poor background and both my parents weren't able to finish school themselves," said Ms Crowe, who grew up in south-west Queensland.
"I was always interested in STEM [science, technology, engineering and mathematics] growing up, but I didn't have any avenues to explore that."
