DASHCAM, CCTV or doorbell footage is being sought by North Yorkshire Police showing a black and grey moped with a pillion passenger as it travelled along Colne Road, Glusburn to Knotts Lane in Eastburn near Cross Hills.
The incident began on Colne Road just before 4pm on Monday 17 May when officers became concerned about the manner of driving of a moped ridden by two people.
The moped failed to stop for officers and began travelling at speed. It was later found abandoned in Knotts Lane in Eastburn, the rider and passenger having ran off.
Following a search on foot, officers found one suspect, a 17-year-old boy from Bradford and he was arrested on Chapel Road, Steeton on suspicion of numerous offences including dangerous driving and failing to stop for the police. He has since been release while under investigation.
