A dad-of-two was shot while his daughter was close by and saw him bleeding as he fell to the ground outside a West Derby property.
Sunday league football manager Nicky Ayers was gunned down outside his mother-in-law's home in West Derby.
The 46-year-old was shot seven times at close-range on South Cantril Avenue, three hours after leaving his relative's house at 9.30pm, on April 29, 2010,
The Western Approaches football boss had spent the evening having dinner at his relative's address and watching Crimewatch on TV before going to meet a friend on nearby Meadow Lane and then heading to a chip shop at 11.30pm.
