Dean of Michigan Engineering Alec D. Gallimore named Duke's next provost

As provost, Gallimore will develop the university’s teaching and research mission. He will oversee Duke's 10 schools and six institutes, including admissions, financial aid, libraries and other facets of academic and student life.
