The European Commission adopted on 12 December the 'Defence of Democracy' package, which includes legislative and non-legislative measures to tackle the threat of covert foreign influence in our democratic life. It will also help build democratic resilience by encouraging citizens and civil society organsiations' participation in our democracies.
