Zakary White, zakary_doodles on Instagram, is a landscape architect who draws Wellington houses in incredible detail and sells them as a side hustle.
In the final year of his masters in landscape architecture, Zakary White turned away from the computer and picked up a black ink pen.
The streets of Wellington are the inspiration for the 26-year-old, whose Instagram handle is @zakary_doodles. White rents a divided villa in Brooklyn, Wellington with his “exceptionally supportive” partner and their cat.
Zak: I grew up in old sheep-shearers’ living quarters in Nelson and moved to Wellington eight years ago to study landscape architecture.
