The intent to hire freshers in India has increased marginally by 3 percentage points in the second half of 2023, with e-commerce and technology startups, telecommunications, engineering and infrastructure showing the highest hiring intent, according to a TeamLease EdTech report. The overall hiring intent for all jobseeker categories has risen from 68% to 73% over the same period. DevOps engineers, chartered accountants, SEO analysts and UX designers are in high demand for freshers.
