Katie Edman and Matt Hiti, both of Eveleth, plan to be married June 23 at Fortune Bay Resort in Tower.
Her parents are Russ and Nancy Edman of Virginia. His parents are Brian Hiti of Lake Eshquagama near Biwabik and Lori Hiti of Gilbert.
The future bride, a 2000 graduate of Mountain Iron-Buhl High School in Mountain Iron, graduated from St. Cloud (Minn.) State University in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education. She is a bartender at BG's Bar & Grill in Mountain Iron.
