So, for about the 10th time last month, I picked up the phone and said “Hello” into the receiver even though I didn’t recognize the number that flashed up on my Caller ID. And just as in the previous nine or so times, it was about my Amazon account.
“I calling to tell you about suspicious activity on your Amazon account,” a voice droned on. In the background I could hear the call was obviously coming from some type of boiler room operation.
