Eric Smith to be sentenced in Oakland County

The sentencing will be held at the Oakland County courthouse in Pontiac and not in the Macomb County courthouse in Mount Clemens, thereby avoiding the spector of returning to the place where Smith appeared many times as an assistant prosecutor in the 1990s and early 2000s and occasionally as the prosecutor from 2005 to 2020.
