Farm worker and author Jane E James publishes new novel, Looking for Lucy

As a keyworker for an organic farm, Jane Richards admits she is ‘not as quick as she would like to be’ when it comes to writing novels.
But despite the full-on duties of her day job, she has found time to write her fourth psychological thriller, Looking for Lucy.
Jane, who writes under the pseudonym Jane E James, lives in Essendine and has taken literary inspiration from the local area.

“The main character, Cindy, is a Stamford girl,” said Jane, “and the setting, a house called Moon Hollow, is based on a manor house I know well, about 20 minutes away in the Cambridgeshire fenland.”
