This as the world reacts to north koreas latest threat saying it could test a Hydrogen Bomb over the Pacific Ocean. This is risk reward im Elizabeth Macdonald and an extraordinary change of insults a war of rhetoric breaking out now between north koreas leader and President Trump as japan braces for north korea and its threat to carry out a Hydrogen Bomb test. Japanese officials warn that means north korea could possibly shoot an icbm with that bomb on it over its country. Now in a rare direct televised statement on state tv north koreas dictator kim jongun said that the president would pay dearly for his threats saying he is unfit to hold the perogative of supreme command of a country and surely a rogue in a gangster fond of playing with fire rather than a politician. Whatever trump might have expected he will face results beyond his expectation. I will surely and definitely tame the mentally deranged u. S. Daughter with fire it now just in case you didnt know it is a Senior Citizen who has become weak. Now north koreas foreign minister that they could launch a Hydrogen Bomb missile test in response saying this could probably mean the strongest Hydrogen Bomb test over the Pacific Ocean. President trump tweeting in response this morning, kim jongun of north korea obviously a madman, who does not mind starving or killing his people, will be tested like never before lets bring in former Trump Campaign coo jeff dewitt joins me now. This is really dangerous rhetoric. Japan warning to test this bomb north korea would have to shoot it over japan to hit the Pacific Ocean. Isnt that the danger here to go awry and strike japan or even china . Certainly no one wants that to happen. If i remember correctly back in the 60s when we were testing Hydrogen Bombs in the pacific we did it off of ships, so we would put a dummy ship out there so there are other ways to do it. Liz but why are we even talking about it . Thats the problem. Well were talking about it because previous president s have failed to control north korea and the problem keeps getting worse. What we finally have is a president whose standing up for america and standing up for our interest and of course now the north korean problem has grown to such an en potential level they have these Nuclear Weapons but its not a problem that will go away on its own. We have to do something. Liz theres literal actual physical fallout from a Hydrogen Bomb tested above ground in the Pacific Ocean thats the danger and jeff lets back up were looking at this list or beingly. The fight with north korea now is a war of words, a pap o grand a war and how do you stop it at that. Because weve been here before. Watch what happened in 1983. It was an extremely dangerous year of a Nuclear Arms Race with the soviet union. A war of words broke out between the u. S. And the soviet union over Nuclear Weapons that did not breakout into a nuclear war. 1983 was the year that saw the soviets shoot down a south korean airliner killing 269. A year that saw Ronald Reagan denounce the soviet union as the evil empire with soviet leader firing back calling reagan insane and a liar. Doesnt this sound familiar to what youre hearing now but watch this 1983 was also the year that the u. S. Put short range pushing two missiles in west germany to go up against the soviets to get it back down led to the 1987 Nuclear Treaty with the soviet union so thats a question now, jeff. What can stop this now . Should the u. S. Put short range icbns in south korea . Well certainly a war of words is better than a war and as you pointed out sometimes these war of words can lead to treaties and other things that can solve the situation. The measures that were put in place by the Treasury Department yesterday are real and will have ramifications and probably have been very frustrating to north korea since that happened, so we are still doing everything we can as a country, diplomatically to put pressure on north korea and i guarantee that pressure is being applied by the measures that were just put in place and you look back and you think why was no one else done this before so look, with china now on board china ordering their banks not to do business with north korea, there is real teeth in the diplomatic measures that are happening and i really think that there could be still a diplomatic solution to this, but of course, when you have a dictator, like we see in north korea, hes going to want to look tough before he agrees to anything anyways, so i still think there are many ways out that wont result in loss of life. Liz yeah its a good point. I mean our president is doing exactly what he needs to do to get there. Liz and the danger is also south korea and japan could become Nuclear States as well we dont know but this is what were looking at right now. Jeff, now theres this story for you the Trump Administration ramping up the travel ban. We which sought to bar all travel from six countries that are terror hotspots and even more targeted restrictions coming in the order creates limits that vary by nation and likely affects eight or Nine Countries including cambodia and jeff what do you think of these new ramped up restrictions here . Dont forget the current travel bans are set to expire sunday i believe and so these are measures that are put in place to keep those going and they are going to be obviously tailored now to what we seen in the courts and tailored to add additional countries. Look this is about keeping america safe. This is something that the president promised on the campaign trail that he would do put america first, keep america safe this is about keeping terrorists from getting on american soil, so i dont know how anybody could have a problem with these measures. These are all countries that have sponsored terrorism within their borders that have people trying to get here so this is about keeping our neighborhoods safe plain and simple. I fully agree with the president liz i hear what youre saying turning to obamacare reform senator john mccain cannot support the new attempt to replace obamacare saying i can not in good conscience vote for the Graham Cassidy proposal. I believe we could do better working together, republicans and democrats and they have not yet really tried for a bipartisan effort nor could i support this will without knowing how much it will cost, how it will affect premiums how many people will be helped or hurt by it without a full cvo score that wont be available by the end of the month. Okay so weve got rand paul and susan collins, jeff saying they too likely wont vote for the Graham Cassidy bill. What happens now . Well you know, what disappoints me at least republicans are trying to do something. The democrats when mccain wants to work with the democrats the democrats are doing nothing to move the ball forward, so at least republicans are doing something. Is this will perfect . No by all means it is not but is it a step in the right direction yes, it is and it puts more power back in the states and im all for states rights so look i think we need to do this will and then keep working to make it better. I think its something that should happen but to vote no because youre not getting the perfect bill, i dont know if in the history of the senate theyve ever passed the perfect bill, so waiting for that is never going to happen so i disagree and i think we need to get this done but i do think we need to keep working past this because obviously a bomb a care is a disaster and weve got to do more to protect our hard working taxpayers. Liz yeah so well fight over preexisting conditions and how much theyre covered so were going to stay on that story. Lets get to this story President Trump traveling to alabama to campaign for senator Luther Stranges special election now some headlines in the media suggest that the president support will help strange win but split the gop. Look at these headlines trump goes to alabama to save Luther Strange and spare gop from roy moore. Trumps rally may spotlight the gop divide. An alabama race tests trumps ability to deliver his voters. All that here is the tally so far republicans beat the democrats 40 in recent special elections, practically every time. What do you think of the Media Coverage right now in this story you know, its fascinating and i think the media being on the left typically enjoys seeing republican on republican battles and this is quite a messy primary as its turning out to be but i think the main thing to think about it is this. President trump is really 5 0 in elections when he supports a candidate and one thing that i think everyone will attest to is he supports the people that support him, so this is obviously going to be kind of a litmus test in alabama for this theres a lot of other factors involved but the president is standing by his commitment and hes a very loyal manas ive seen time and time again and look, his support will sway elections. Theres no question about it. The president has a very very powerful voice among the Republican Party so you know a lot lies in this election right now. Its always disappointing myself being a life long republican when we have really bad battles in our own party, but i think well come out stronger and you know, i admire the president because he is a man of his words liz he is. As always and he stands by his friends. Liz jeff this special election is being looked at by some in political circles as a test of the president s influence. What do you think of that . You know, to some degree i think that could be the case. Well see. I mean theres so many other factors that thats not the soul factor in this race. Obviously from policy perspective, history theres a lot of other things going on between the two candidates but look, theres no question about it that when the president puts his stamp on a candidate, that goes a long long ways in a republican primary in this country right now. No question. Liz thank you jeff dewitt, for coming on the show we love having you on. Thanks liz. Liz stay tuned tonight here on fox business. We do have live special coverage of President Trumps speech in alabama, starting at 8 00 p. M. Eastern time with trish regan. Its friday lets see what the end of the week market check at the new york stock exchange. Nicole, how did the markets react to whats going on with north korea . The stocks finished mixed today and for the week, but the dow and the s p up two weeks in a row and up four of the last five trading weeks and lets not leave out the russel which holds closing record high. We did have some winners on the dow this week, names such as verizon, ge, jpmorgan, boeing led the way despite the fact that weve had north Korea Tensions and we did make it through the fed meeting on wednesday. What did come under pressure apple dropping about 5 for this week, worst selling weve seen for apple since late april. Theres concerns about connectivity for the watch also just how many iphone 8s are they selling and is everybody waiting for the iphone 10. Well find out more by the end of october and early november and then we took a close look at amazon. Amazon dropped about 1 but grub hub down 3. 5 on news that amazon is working with the Restaurant Technology provider o lo to get the food delivered to their prime customers, even within an hour, liz. So with that grubhub came under some pressure. Liz . Liz thanks so much nicole. Next up Abc Television Network Debuting a new tv show thats called sanctuary family. It features a nanny whose an illegal immigrant this after criticism for canceling conservative leaning comedy tim allens show last man standing. Coming up we have former espn analyst curt shilling here to respond on that and more. We also have this story for you Senate Judiciary chairman Chuck Grassley asking the fbi if it had warned President Trump about russian efforts to infiltrate mccains campaign the details are next. My friends think doing this at my age is scary. I say not if you protect yourself. What is scary . Pneumococcal pneumonia. Its a serious disease. The rest of the real world is a place where its hard sometimes to find people who will listen with an attitude that they might actually be convinced of something. What happens in most of the real world and four rows in this auditorium is that people dont listen at all. Liz former fbi director james comey getting heck eled at his speech at howard university. This is still a hot button story Senate Judiciary chair Chuck Grassley asking the fbi if it had warned President Trump about russian efforts to infiltrate Trumps Campaign just as the fbi did when it warned the Mccain Campaign that a top advisor had ties to pal man and potentially russia. Thats what truck grassley is saying happened but all this spying by politicians on each other has former speaker of the house Newt Gingrich warning this is a sobering reality check for the constitution and for america when you start seeing power of the fbi or the power of the cia being suborn for political reasons whether youre democrat or republican you ought to be frightened about the future of freedom in america, because we build very powerful institutions to defend us from foreign enemies and to defend us from criminals and if those institutions start being corrupted, we are in deep trouble as a country. Liz joining me now the News Foundation editor in chief christopher bedford. Good to see you christopher. Good to see you. Liz senator grassley said senator mccain was warned about russian medaling when running for president back in 2008. Mccain is denying that ever happened. Whats going on here . John mccains furious that its been brought up because john mccain prides himself rightfully so as a fierce fierce critic of Vladimir Putin so to say hes had any trouble or hes associated with people who have associated with friends of putin which it looks like he has and that was reported out in 2008 really does bug him and thats another thing about when you want to fight enemies abroad you often have to make friendships and deal with people who might be considered rather unsavory and Newt Gingrich is correct, when he says that americans should be fearful but what i think he misses is the fbi is decades old. Theyve been doing the bidding of president s or at least of themselves for decades about its worked out theyve chosen winner s and losers basically since creation. Liz judge says the issue of politicians wiretapping each other is just the tip of the iceberg. Lets listen. Were they listening to Paul Manafort during the campaign in order to find out what donald trump was going to do next in the campaign and help hillary. Were they listening to Paul Manafort because they thought he committed a crime . Were they listening to Paul Manafort because they were listening with something with which to tarnish the future president. I think absolutely, and wiretapping but politicians goes back and forth on each other, spying on each other goes back and forth. I personally been in offices in virginia where they found bugs planted by Left Wing Group and right wing group and reverse might happen as well but when the into b i is involved you have to question their motives and anyones motives when they try to listen in and it seems to me so far the way the fbi conducted itself on this investigation the way comey handled things its just too hard, its too easy to doubt their motives because its too m erky and unclear and they havent come clean. Liz the motives are they are trying to see if theres russian medaling right . Thats what theyre saying but the question is if theyre worried about russian medaling and worried about our National Security and they really should bring that complaint to the head of the Trump Campaign donald trump. If they think one of the major parties in the u. S. Has a russian spy or someone that compromised in such an Important Role i would expect our Law Enforcement agencies to bring that to the attention of our Political Parties and be able to trust them to know if theres a problem. Liz chris now we have this story breaking a condemnation of Hillary Clinton by bill clinton s former lead pollster stanley greenburg. He just published a blistering dye section of Hillary Clintons campaign saying malpractice and aerogance are why she lost also david axlerod, obamas top advisor blasted hillary earlier in the year saying jim comey did not tell hillary to not campaign in wisconsin. What do you make of stanley greenbergs comments . Exactly as much as has been made of russian hacking or what james comey or anyone else did to Hillary Clinton except for herself she said she felt constricted by her own campaign. She attacked the people who worked tirelessly and the problem was and theyre right. Her air o gas and if you read the secret service memoires and the details of the white house shes very different from her husband. Bill clinton has faults but people genuinely liked him. No one ever really genuinely liked Hillary Clinton including the American People and i dont think this is good for her legacy and shes losing friends now that she cant really lash out at people and hurt them for attacking her. Its going to hurt her legacy to not retire quietly or maybe move on to a political role more uplifting than to play the blame game like shes doing. Liz chris bedford, good to see you. Thank you. Liz lets take a check of the money stocks closing mostly higher the dow posting its second positive week in a row even though it closed down, billionaire investor ray dalio telling fox business he does not think that stocks are in a bubble. Watch. No. U. S. Isnt. Unlike 2007 when we looked at 2008 we could see at the time that did the calculations of Individuals Companies and so on. We could see that they were not going to have the cash flows to service their debts. Thats not the case now. Liz tune in tonight to wall street week at 9 00 p. M. Eastern time for more from that interview. Next up the president arriving at Morristown Municipal airport in new jersey en route to alabama where the president will join a rally for senator Luther Strange election. Fox business will have live coverage at 8 00 p. M. Eastern time and next up abcs tv debut ing a new show called sanctuary family featuring a nanny whose an illegal immigrant this after criticism for canceling conservative leaning comedy tim allens show last man standing. Coming up former espn analyst curt shilling is here to respond on that and more but first billionaire facebook co founder Mark Zuckerberg says he will fight election propaganda and medaling but my next guest says facebook is only interested cushing conservative speech. Thats after this. Dont go away. Liz the president arriving at Morristown Municipal airport in new jersey en route to alabama where the president will join a rally for senator Luther Stranges special election tonight. Fox business will have special live coverage at 8 00 p. M. Eastern time. We will continue our own investigation into what happened on facebook in this election. We may find more and if we do, we will continue to work with the government on it. Were looking to foreign actors including additional russian groups and other former soviet states as well as organizations like the campaigns to further our own understanding of how they used all of our tools. Liz now after growing criticism billionaire facebook cofounder Mark Zuckerberg bow ing to pressure. He announced yesterday that facebook will hand over to Congress Information about 3000 russian ads that ran on facebook s website during the 2016 president ial election, but zuckerberg now saying facebook didnt find much problematic russian content and today russia denying using facebook ads to influence the u. S. Election. Lets take a check of the stock closing slightly down in the red joining me look whose here fox news radio host good to see todd good to see you. Liz lets first see your conservative page. It got blocked once by facebook . Oh, it did. This is several years ago. I had written a rather different post about my appreciation for the National Rifle association and the bible and at the time palladian and as a result, my content was blocked, my page was blocked, i received a nasty letter from facebook saying i violated their Community Standards and i never really got an explanation why but quite frankly thank goodness for fox news because they did a story about it and facebook was able to go back and reverse their decision. Liz how long was the block for . It was for several days, and im not the only person this has happened to. I mean there have been many others who have not had the power of say a fox news or a met work behind them and theyve been blocked for weeks if not months. Liz its interesting by ms. Ward Prime Minister theresa may says terrorists are all over facebook and youre blocked. Thats true and they are. A couple months ago there was a conservative christian mob who wrote a series of viral posts about teen vogue. And she was actually blocked and is still blocked to this day. We havent been able to get her unblocked but again it seems as though facebook is rather selective. Their indignation is rather selective when it comes to who theyre going to block and who they arent going to block and quite frankly they have a bad history of going after conservative websites. Liz lets get back to the facebook russia story. President trump commenting this morning saying the russia hoax continues now its ads on facebook what about the totally bias and dishonest Media Coverage in favor of crooked hillary . Mark zuckerberg corroborates what the president says saying there are few instances of russian influence found on its website. Lets listen. Today, i want to share the steps that were taking to protect Election Integrity and make sure that facebook is a force for good index okras it and while the amount of problematic content we found so far remains relatively small, any attempted interference is a serious issue. Liz now the number of russian ads on facebook not enough to swing the election it seems right todd . Thats true and thats coming from zuckerberg. Were talking what 470 accounts they spent about 100,000 for about 3000 ads thats not a lot considering how many people are on facebook. But again you heard it from liz how much did hillary spend . Well who knows how much hillary spent but the issue is zuckerberg. We dont think this made an impact. We havent seen the ads. Obviously they have and whatever theyve seen it was enough for zuckerberg to say we dont think its that big of a deal but again the Mainstream Media they look for any opportunity to go after the president and theyre doing that and rather disingenuine us of their coverage. Liz didnt obama try to influence the israeli elections and brexit as well . Well thats okay because thats barack obama but the russian, i love the russian argument here because we have no idea how to even take out an ad on facebook. I actually believe that argument because its kind of difficult at the end of the day. Liz we love having you on come back soon and read his column on fox news. Next up former obama Homeland Security secretary turned president of Berkeley University , university of berkeley, shes complaining that next weeks free speech week in berkeley will cost her University Big bucks. Coming up, one of their College Republicans is here to respond. Also we have this story for you Abc Television network introducing a new show called sanctuary family. It features a nanny whose an illegal immigrant. My next guest is here to react espn analyst and pro pitcher Curt Schilling up next. Dont let dust and allergens get between you and lifes beautiful moments. Flonase outperforms the 1 nondrowsy allergy pill. It helps block 6 key inflammatory substances that cause symptoms. Pills block one and 6 is greater than 1. Flonase changes everything. Liz Abc Television network introducing a new show called sanctuary family. It features a nanny whose an illegal immigrant. This comes after accusations that abc cancelled tim allens sit com last man standing allegedly for its conservative views. This in addition to Sister Company espn being accused of firing letting go conservative workers. Lets do a quick check of the stock of disney the Parent Company of abc and espn. Disney ending the day in the red with me now look whose here former Major League Baseball pitcher, hes a former espn analyst hes Curt Schilling good to see you curt. Thanks for having me. Liz what do you think of this no show sanctuary family . I dont. I really am honestly immune to the effects of the Mainstream Media and television in the rest of it. After the last year and a half im done getting anything remotely resembling intelligence from hollywood as it relates to politics in this country. Liz tim allen said he was blindsided by his shows cancellation. Do you think theres any connection here . Oh, absolutely. I mean listen. Youre asking questions i know you know the answer to already. We dont need a special investigation to see that things that are being done from a very progressive very liberal media and here is the thing. I dont think either of us have a problem with any of this. I think the problem becomes when they try to deny it. Espn is a clearly liberal intolerant very exclusive group of people if youre not a liberal, and they refuse to add put it and again, its their private company. Capitalism works that way. You can do what you want when you run a company on your own. Liz its becoming a problem right for espn . Well if you consider profits going down a problem, sure. But disney has embraced this. Thats the thing that i dont get. Disney which puts itself as a familyfirst group is embracing this left wing and again Violent Group of people that continue to have very racist agendas. Liz why do you say violent . Well if you look at what antifa is doing and the fact that theyre allowed to march around calling themselves anti fascists and theyre doing nothing but burning and breaking buildings for reasons i still dont understand, they were marching against free speech in boston and im not sure i can still grasp that one. Liz lets get to the nfl. You heard this story too, curt that viewership not doing well. The first weekend ratings were down it was blamed on the hurricane. The second weekend though ratings went down as well. This after ratings were down last year. Now, here is the thing. Cbs, you know a number of other networks espn, nbc, fox, they could lose big if the viewership goes down. Some analysts on wall street, curt saying theres 2. 5 billion in ad revenue this season for the nfl. If theres a 10 shortfall, i mean that could be a hit of 200 million there, right . Well you already are talking about youve got to remember something this money has already been spent by the espn of the world. The television packages they purchase were in the billions and its why nfl franchises the values have gone through the roof. Viewership is down for all the reasons you think its down. Its down because the league is supporting a very antiamerican agenda, a stance which is i dont, it confuses me. I dont certainly dont have a problem with players doing the things theyre doing to use the platforms theyre using but when you see it start affecting eight year old kids kneeling at Football Games for reasons they had no idea its the opposite i was raised. Respect the flag and country and make your own way and that appears together something we no longer do but thats what capitalism does. Liz people dont want politics when theyre on a sunday night or at night or whenever. They just want to watch the game i disagree. I disagree. Liz politicizing kids games right . No but honestly liz disrespecting the flag. People dont have a problem when politics are aligned with politics they agree with. For the most part. I mean, that is not a conservative thing any more. It is what it is. Liz lets switch gears. Curt theres more devastation in puerto rico due to hurricane maria. Now the National Weather service is reporting that a dam in western puerto rico failed causing major mass flooding two towns being evacuated. Curt, youre heading to puerto rico to help. Tell us about that. So operation bullpen is the name of the mission. We were in texas for about a week and in florida for about a week and we are taking a significant hopefully number of cargo planes down to texas. It is the devastation is off the charts. I have had the i dont know if i want to call it the privilege. Ive seen raw footage of bodies floating down the middle of the street of people shooting each other for bottles of water. This is, its beyond comprehensive and i think but this is an entire country that is without power. This is an entire country that needs help so were asking the biggest thing right now for us for operation bullpen is getting contributions. Theres a pay pal account that you can contribute, donate to if you have a problem donate to me thats fine dont do it but the planes that were taking over cost about 11,000 an hour to fly and its about a six hour roundtrip so you can do the math. Its going to take a lot of money to get multiple planes back and forth. We have a ton, tons and tons of supplies to get over there as well as generators and all of the things we can do and were taking on our Facebook Page, were taking donations operation bullpen and were also asking and reaching out to people who have relatives in puerto rico to go to that Facebook Page and put down specific addresses and items where we can identify and get to these people because a lot of people dont know if their families are alive and so were going to try and take satellite communication devices there to be able to have families call back and let loved ones here know theyre okay. Liz curt youve been doing amazing work. Youve been working with Hurricane Harvey victims, irma, in florida and texas. Curt schilling its so good to see you thank you for coming on the show. Thank you for having me. Liz yeah sure please visit operation bullpen at paypal. Me Curt Schilling to help out if you want to help. Trump administration making the Opioid Crisis a top priority. Today, cvs pharmacia nounsing it will limit painkillers prescriptions to a seven day supply. Coming up we have an ohio sheriff whose here with an update of whats going on from the front line but first former obama Homeland Security secretary turned berkeley president , shes Janet Napolitano complaining next week s free speech week will cost the University Big bucks. Next, one of the students who organized the event is here to respond. Hes Berkeley College republican s Vice President and he says its her fault hes going to explain after this. So what else is new . Hows your mother . Umm. Shes doing good. She needs more care though. She wants to stay in her house. I dont know even where to start with that. First, lets take a look at your Financial Plan and see what we can do. Ok, so weve got. Well listen. Well talk. Well plan. Baird. Its a highly contagious disease that can be really serious. Especially for my precious new grandchild. Its whooping cough. Every family member, including those around new babies, should talk to their doctor or pharmacist about getting vaccinated. Is everything ok . Adt, i could hear crackling in the walls, and my mind went totally blank. All i remember saying was, my boyfriends beating me and she took it from there. When a fire is going on, youre running around, youre not thinking clearly, so they called the Fire Department for us. And all of this occurred in four minutes or less. Within five minutes. I am absolutely grateful we all made it out safely. Its kind of one of those things you cant even. You cant even thank somebody. People you dont know actually care about you. To protect what you love, call 1800adtcares the reason that i am here is because fascism does not own this university because there is students who do want to hear differing views who dont want to be told they can only hear one view who dont believe the First Amendment should die under the birkenstocks of a bunch of anarchist communist pieces of garbage. [applause] liz conservative ben shapiro calling out intolerant students and antifa activists at berkeley last week. Berkeleys College Republicans kicking off free speech week this weekend, but former obama Homeland Security secretary, shes now the president of Berkeley University, shes Janet Napolitano. She says this will be an expensive venture saying free speech is not free. It turns out the question or the rock and the hard place that berkeley is in and other University Campuses as well is a value of free speech and the safety and Security Issues that are implicated. Now total cost for the past few weeks of security at berkeley for these kinds of events nearly a combined million bucks. Reports say that the university and the city will share in the cost. Now its not free to attend university of berkeley either. Out of state students pay over 61,000 with the instate tuition fee at nearly 35,000 bucks now as a reminder American Students who graduated from college they currently owe over 1. 4 trillion in student loan debt. Thats spread out about over about 44 million borrowers. Now lets bring in berkeley College Republicans Vice President hes naweed. Good to see you. Thank you. Liz lets take a look at the guest speakers you have. Bright bart editor, former white house strategist steve bannon, conservative comentator ann coul ter, all scheduled all controversial. Are you worried about protests . Well the organization hosting the event is actually berkeley patriots and a conservative newspaper on campus but of course theres always protests weve seen fliers around campus suggesting we should shutdown and steve bannon for hate speeches but i have to say im actually surprised that Janet Napolitano is concerned about Financial Issues after she routinely squanders the hard working taxpayer dollars of californiaans on undocumented student coordinators on every camp that helps with legal issues for undocumented students up to 8 million spent every year and i have a solution for her. Maybe we could use a slush fund of over 100 million she uses for lavish trips and expenses and parties on protecting free speech on College Campuses. This is a problem the university of california system created on its own. Weve seen this in every College Campus where they protest conservative speaker. Liz california governor jerry brown is saying i think the state already has an investigation into that slush fund allegedly setup by Janet Napolitano. The thing is now whats striking is if Berkeley University is using tuition to pay for security, for academics who are not doing what their job of teaching the importance of free speech, i mean, do you see that what the roundtrip here thats happening . I mean what is going on with janet Janet Napolitano and the academics there in teaching the value of free speech . Well of course the left never accepts selfresponsibility. Im not surprised theyre not taking ownership for creating antifa to begin with but this project of creating safe space and trigger warnings is meant to blur the lines between violence and speech and to clarify speech in action so they can justify hitting you over the head as they disagree with you because they believe speech is considered violent so for example, when she gives a speech at uc berkeley they say that speech is violent and there for its necessary to bash him over the head for it. That includes me as a student. Liz it should be preemptive violence to protect themselves. This is the pot calling kettle fascist and theres reports the event is going to be cancelled is that true . Well the berkeley patriot again the conservative organization hosting this event is having a press conference tomorrow, but well see. Again for the berkeley College Republicans we had three events cancelled because of leftist violence or threats of it and im disappointed the uc system isnt taking ownership of this problem. Department of Homeland Security now telling Election Officials in 21 states that hack ers targeted their voting systems last year, although in most cases the systems were not breached possible states target ed include alabama, colorado, illinois, maryland, virginia, washington, and wisconsin. We will bring you any developments. Next up President Trump making the Opioid Crisis a top priority early in his administration. President trump this is a total epidemic and i think its probably almost untalked about compared to the severity that were witnessing. Solving the drug crisis will require cooperation across government and across society including Early Intervention to keep americas youth off this destructive path. We must Work Together trust each other and forge a True Partnership based on the Common Ground of cherishing human life. Liz and now this, cvs pharmacy today doing its part announcing it is limiting opioid prescriptions to a seven day supply. It is the First National drug store change to restrict how many painkillers doctors can prescribe to patients. Cvs stock closing the day higher up less than a percent. Now, to a state where the Opioid Crisis is killing so many people , that cold storage trailers now have to be used as a morgue. Weve got ohios Butler County sheriff Richard Jones with us good to see you have you on the show sheriff. How you doing . Liz sheriff should other Drug Store Chains follow what cv s is doing limiting access to opioids . Nope. I dont believe it. Cvs, i dont believe its going to solve anything. If people that are getting these seven day supplies, these are the people mostly that work every day and have pain and surgeries, the Senior Citizens. Thats not the issue. These people that use the drugs and are addicted to drugs are just going to go to a street drug. Theyre not going to get the pharmacy drugs. Most of us in the field dont believe this is going to stop much of anything, period. Liz thats interesting. Sheriff according to the Ohio Department of health, the number of opioidrelated deaths sky rocketed just under 300 in 2003 to over 2000 in 2015 and thats a big jump over that 13 year period sheriff. What can be done better to fight this crisis . We spend 80 of our time of our money and our resources on the treatment of those who are addicted to drugs. We spend 20 on education we need reverse that and when you talk to the people in the field we need to spend 80 on preventing people like the president of the United States just said on your show, and like nancy reagan said, but were not working both ends. The people that are addicted its sad to say but its going to be very hard to stop those people and get them turned around but were not even working on the kids that are in grade school. They had three babies born in my jail. The last one was born in the toilet and these are to addicted mothers and i have 12 women pregnant in my jail and of the 12 they have 35 babies and theyre all addicted mothers and its that way all over the country but ohio is taking the bullet, period. Liz sheriff what are we and the media missing when it comes to what you and your officers deal with on a daily basis with the Opioid Crisis . Here is what youre missing. Its so deep rooted and when you talk about the narcan that revives them or you talk about the pharmacy going to cause you to have a seven day supply, were not working on the root problem and the root problem is 76 of all Illegal Drugs come to the United States. Its supply and demand. They run the opium, china does to the Mexican Border so it can come over to the United States. Were doing something by stopping it from coming in but its what we refer to as the giant balloon effect. You squeeze it over here and it goes over there. Were not addressing the problem liz its a Border Security issue the drugs coming off the border sheriff so good to have you on the show sorry we ran out of time there. We want to have you on soon to talk about this youre terrific sheriff jones thanks again. Appreciate you thank you guys liz sure the president was going to speak in alabama tonight.
