Ferris State University Introduces Free Tuition Program for Incoming Low-Income Students

The latest school to join is Ferris State University with their program: the Ferris Launch Initiative.
“The student has to have a zero expected family contribution as determined by FAFSA along with a 3.0 or higher GPA from high school,” said Ferris State Financial Aid Office Coordinator and Advisor Melanie Mulder. “Ferris State University is going to contribute to those students to cover the cost of tuition for the 2021-2022 academic year.”
Mulder says a couple thousand students that apply to Ferris State University each year are eligible for this program.
