Former Tri-Tech Firefighting Student Honored for Saving Lives

Former Tri-Tech fire fighting program student, and now Benton County 1 worker, honored for lifesaving (Kennewick Fire Department)
Like many other events, award ceremonies and honor award presentations were put off due to COVID-19.
But finally, a former Tri-Tech Skills Center Firefighting student is being honored for his role in saving the life of a woman and baby near Benton City last October.
As reported by our news partner KNDU-TV,  Last Oct. 23, around 3AM, on Sloan Court near Benton City, a fire was called in. Benton County Fire District 1 responded, and the former Tri-Tech Student,
