You have called a wall a 14th century solution to a 21st century problem. But Border Agents on the front lines say a wall works and reduces gotaways, stems Cross Border Drug flows and funnels people to certain locations where its easier to deal with them. Is a wall a bad thing . Well, look, you know, if you look at the Border Patrol union pre2012, they called the wall ineffective waste of dollars. After that their position changed. Look, look at where the fence is built. Send your reporters and see where they are built, a quarter mile, half a mile away from the border. So what happens is somebody touches the border, they can claim asylum. The two things, let me say this, i dont care if its a devon archer or republican president , you have to have immediate deportation at the border sore real consequences and second of all, like 2015 and 2019 under obama and trump, numbers went down because we got mexico to do its job and stop people before they get to the u. The asylum law says if its persecution by the state based on religious or political belief, then thats how you get asylum. Most of the people, 89 to 90 dont qualify. My training tells me, i have three brothers who are peace officers, you stay calm, you quickly do an analysis of the situation, and you act accordingly.
