ST. BONAVENTURE, NY — In November 2016, Tom Missel laid in bed awaiting a phone call that didn’t come on time. He thought his phone would ring at 1 a.m., but it didn’t. More than a couple of hours passed. At 3:30 a.m., his phone finally rang.
