Get Out!: Outdoor movies, concerts, pop-ups in, around Jackson this weekend

Jackson Parks and Recreation will host its first Movies in the Park event of the season on Saturday.
The event is at Liberty Garden Park (24 Channing Way) with the movie starting at 8 p.m.
The movie this week is Raya and the Last Dragon.
Bring your own lawn chair, blankets, and snacks. All minors must be have direct parental supervision.

Thursday
Sunflower Festival: Donnell Century Farms celebrates summer with its Sunflower Festival at 3720 US Highway 70 East in Madison County. There are more than 100,000 blooms in the sunflower patch with multiple Americana photo stations for $8 per person, with children 23 months and younger free. There are opportunities to pick sunflowers with all-you-can-fit sunflowers into buckets for $20 or less, or $2 per bloom. Concessions and fresh meat are available for purchase too. Photographers are welcome for admission only from 3 p.m. until dusk each day through Sunday.
